@@omegasonic2000 that's really all they have to do, improve on the best aspects from each game and slap it into one game, I doubt it will happen but if they prove me wrong then that would be awesome, not gonna hope for anything tho, because as the wise man T-Bone once said "Hope is a sad thing"
Man do I miss Aiden, I genuinely wish they’d give us a sequel to the first game with the same dark theme, music and story with Aiden. Excellent gameplay btw, though I feel like the stealth in legion isn’t as good as WD2’s and WD1 due to level design and gadgets
Legion is stripped from alot of its predecessors mechanics to much to list. The stealth is definitely more basic and especially harder to record due to the rng of enemy positioning. I hope they return back to the roots of watch dogs with it's more realistic gritty theme but I doubt they will. Ubisoft's quality for games had declined over the years and dont think it will come back. Which is unfortunate but watch dogs 1 and 2 will always be a treat to replay. I do think they did a great job with the dlc and aiden considering what they have been putting out recently.
@@Serendide I gotta agree, I’ve replayed the first and second so many times, I think watch dogs 2 had some excellent stealth with great level design, enemy placement, AI and so many hacks/gadgets to mess with. Legion lost so much quality by going play as anyone and splitting any ideas to each random NPC. Ubi doesn’t listen anymore, 2014 was the messiest year yet now I remember AC Unity as the best AC in terms of stealth, parkour and sticking to the franchise roots + Watch Dogs 1 being the start of so much more, instead they decided to change and flip everything up. I miss Ubi 2014.
@@timoplays478 I really like Legion for what it tried to do. I wish they stuck to what they were originally planning and kept operative levels and the second wind to decide to risk death or settle for arrest or kidnap, especially if its your last guy. Gun shops should have been a thing and cars on demand should have came back. Sucks that they didnt focus on invasion since thats WD's unique gimmick for online. They should have taken ideas from AC Brotherhood and Revelations with Sending out operatives to do missions elsewhere for background leveling along with a better currency system. Legions isnt perfect but it sets up a precedent for the devs to work off of and improve. Im not opposed to another game like legion whether it be Watch Dogs or AC or some other franchise. Or even if XCOM looked to this for third person shooter rather than turn based. I hate that they added "stun" weapons but killing or knocking someone out serves no real difference besides "hospitalizing" which makes them hate dedsec anyway. They should have kept what WD2 did amazingly with the Metal gear esque knock outs so that true no kill runs can be done and probably have missions needing no deaths, as well as have different enemy factions fight eachother occasionally. I wish they have kept the enemy variety from WD2 (Dogs that sniff you out, haum robots, option to integrate Remparts robots in legion, heavies from WD 1.) They shouldnt have made it so that everyone can control cars, hijack drones, hijack cameras. They should have allocated those to different jobs (Security managers for cameras, mechanics for cars, drones for drone experts, seriously they are "experts" yet anyone from london can apparently do it.) It wasnt until recently I found out for access points you can straight up shoot them instead of hacking which would fit a heavy run and gun character. The only people with complete access should be legendary characters like Aiden and Wrench. If you couldnt tell I really like complexity. I understand thats all really hard to work properly but dude. Theres so much potential for this style of game if they didnt focus on seeing the blemishes on someones face from the reflection off a puddle.
From a casual playthrough RNG is a good thing sure but for perfectionists / youtubers such as myself who make stealth videos its a pain in the ass. regarding the things they removed this is a long list so get ready Traffic light hacks Bursting steam pipes in the road Blackouts Bridge hacks Overheating enemies phones/setting of grenades in enemies pockets Calling the cops on enemies Putting a gang hit on enemies Variety of free running animations Mass hacks (in the game now but character exclusive) Weapon variety Honor system Hacking into cameras on enemies All the tools that were in the previous games such as lures and remote sticky bombs Vehicle boosting/overcharge Phone menu with its apps such as the driver apps Digital trips the music app Hiding in car while under pursuit Vaulting stealth takedowns Lack of online pvp such as tailing, bounty hunting, or invasion Random crimes and going on foot chases to catch the criminal. Not walking in store to shop for clothing enemy variety like heavies or dogs though there are drones so I guess its debatable now
I feel like the takedowns where better in the original, I understand that it is a minor thing but some of the hits just feel exaggerated, I feel like watch dogs one had the takedowns having more force behind them and looked better, and in some takedowns the baton does not even hit the enemy
@Alfie BRANCH not sure, but I feel like the animations where already present in watch dogs one which makes me wonder why they did not use them, but as I said if you look at it carefully the baton does not even hit the enemy sometimes and I feel that the camera being placed so high also makes it look worse, I feel like zooming in for the takedowns shows more impact like the original
@@amanlonga1467 Thanks for pointing that out, yes the coat is missing the physics, and it just looks stiff now, my favourite thing to do in the original was to get on a bike and see the coat flapping behind you as you go faster.
Watch dogs 1 was still so fucking cool with a badass character. Marcus was goofy and stylish but he could never top Aiden fucking Pearce. I may rebuy the game again
Aiden is cold with fighting and shooting, but obviously Marcus is the better hacker. Too much Marcus hate fr. Nothing was wrong with him. But I can read between the lines lol. Loser
Beautiful. I needed more of this. He is awesome, I just feel like we are missing out on the soul that WD 1 had. Idk why I feel that way. Like everything had a much bigger impact or something...shooting, blowing things, hacking.
There’s nothing to hack on the streets- no steampipes, traffic lights, no way to use blockers to stop cars that are chasing you, no spikes, etc. WD1 was an underappreciated masterpiece and WD Legion is somewhat soulless in comparison.
@@dogestranding5047 those blockers are extremely useful for to me to get away from police chases I accidentally started. Don’t you there insult my blockers.
I think shooting, blowing thins like that pipe from the streets and the hackings are much better on wd1 and 2 and wdl's distract hack take so long to refill unlike on wd1 and 2, its pretty fast, thats why I'm forced to uss invisibility so that if I get caught or the distract hack is not available I just use it
The original John Wick is back! Though my only downside is that I felt they could’ve added a bit more takedowns as I really like his unique ones from the first Watch Dogs
The baton takedowns aren't as satisfying as I remember. It is nice to see such a well-developed character reintroduced in a newer game. Personally, I think Watch Dogs 1 had the best storyline, might just be nostalgia but still.
I think everyone can agree here. The style of takedowns is way different as well, in the first game they were fast clean and brutal, they had impact. In this game it seems they gave him a more flashy approach to his takedowns except for the re used takedown which consists of him beating the shit out of the enemy until they are down. I wish they re used more of his older animations as they were the best imo and would have given more variety. But its a small thing that I don't mind
@@Serendide my bad, wasn't quebec the ones who did this, it was toronto's fault 😂 anyways, this whole thing needs the watch dogs resurgance reboot asap
I'm really happy they gave him his own unique takedowns, after all that build-up it would have been pretty shit to see regular ass asp baton takedowns that the police/enforcers use
I just restarted the campaign, customized Pearce which is awesome that we can do that, gave him tats, changed the beard and hair, he looks kinda funny when he talks in the short conversations but other than that, I don't play as anyone besides him and wrench, who I also changed. Total game changer.
The Only Thing That is improved in Watch Dogs legion ( Aiden pierce) is the Takedowns ...other than that the Stealth and the smoothness of Watch Dogs 1 won't be equal to this
Yeah its underwhelming, they could've re used animations from the first game and I would've been fine with it but besides that I think the DLC is great!
I buy bloodline dlc and have the others characters and outfits from money, now I dont now wish character to play,I prefer one like in wd1 and wd2,anyone have the same stupid problem 😅 ?
go with the one who suits your fighting style better, if you like going non lethal and pure hacking, go Wrench, if you like quick kills and extreme brutality, go Aiden.
Tbh, I wish Aiden had his old baton takedowns, they were far more efficient and had force behind him than doing these weird take em by the legs thwack. Because in Watch dogs 1, Aiden was and always was a Fixer, a man that was deadly enough he went toe to toe against the mafia and basically destabilised the criminal underworld in Chicago, some of his old pistol executions would be nice like when he kicks the enemy down and just caps them in the back of the head, also the one he has now works well in tandem
The DLC literary gave me the push to complete the main game, just because of Aiden and Wrench. Still annoyed that they didn't make the animation of him closing his Baton.
The running animations and cloth physics on Aiden's jacket is just straight wack af. It made me not use a motorcycle and always drive a car around so that i couldnt see that shit.
you can give him a silenced pistol if you have a spy on your team but on hard difficulty anyway the enemies are bullet sponges and dont die to headshots so I didn't bother with it
I played the original watchdogs on ps4. I loved it, I have 3 copies of legion ps4, pc and deluxe on xbox series so that came with the original game which I'm slowly playing through. Legion for me feels very modern day assassins creed which I love
Aiden Pearce one of the most badass watch dogs hell his vigilante name is the grey fox of Chicago and what I find funny is he beat not all entire gang of criminals in the first watch dogs but in legion he took down entire organization with the help of wrench
This video should actually be a few minutes, since Aiden only has about 5 animations, lol. 9 months, people. 9 months to only get this much in his animations.
You can equip the spys silenced pistol in the main game but since I play on the hard difficulty enemies turn into rpg bullet sponges so they dont die to a single headshot, so I didnt bother using it.
