Ubi. If there wont be a "granny gang" achievement for recruiting 4+ grannies you are doing something wrong.

For anyone not from London, the design of the locations seems incredibly accurate, I can literally name these locations near my house from tiny details.

I honestly love how this was the original concept and this is how it used to work. I'd love to do it the way it was. And I'd love to play as Ian. He was a great mate. AND when you meet Jimmy at the pub, it's an actual in game cutscene. Not the side to side stuff you see nowadays. I'm proud and grateful to have the current version but this is where it was actually very real. It's awesome. I wish I was able to play it this way.

It’s sucks that Ubisoft always downgrad their games at the last second. They’ve been doing this for years and they still haven’t gotten sued

Unused content from this video: - characters commenting on stuff. - Character stat boosts instead of perks - levels (to unlock actual perks) - a mission about recruiting a drone expert - characters mentioning themselves by names - detailed mask animations - the SURRENDER/RESIST mechanic - characters giving a damn about others dying - using a DD-bus (whithout stealing it) - some bagley reactions - character backstories (that actually mean something.) - actual cutscenes for recruiting someone - bagley properly introdoucing someone new into the resistance. Typical Ubisoft downgrade: bit of a shame though.

Looking back at this video, it's interesting (and sad) to see the difference in what was advertised versus what we got. As far as general gameplay, they effectively delivered on pretty much everything, which is a miracle. But the place where they over-embellished is undoubtedly the characters and narrative. These characters were more compelling in this short gameplay showcase than the "characters" I played as throughout the whole game. Of course, it would be ridiculous to expect them to be able to give us a few million named characters with unique personalities. But at the end of the day, that's the problem with the whole premise isn't it? It's impossible to deliver on "play as anyone" while also giving us a compelling narrative, because said narrative is being driven by soulless avatars with no character to speak of because the end goal was so ambitious that it reached beyond the scope of what any gane developer could be realistically expected to achieve. This honestly could've been a good opportunity to introduce a player-created character as if it were an RPG. Have the "Legion" aspect be the ability to recruit, but not play as, anyone. Like AC Brotherhood with all the Assassins you can recruit. Also, took me a bit to place Naomi's actress until I realized she's the same as Mina Sidhu. She sounds so different without the personality she plays in the game. Wish we had this version of her voice instead of the one we have.

Crazy to think that because of this game we may never get another watch dogs

Lethal takedowns are back, awesome, I missed them in Watch Dogs 2 .

As amazing as this concept seems, I can't help but realize the limitations they're probably working with. I don't fault the developers for this but, after a while you're going to notice some characters have the exact same personality and voice lines. It just isn't physically possible to make every character unique when literally every NPC in the game is playable. Great idea, just extremely hard to execute effectively.

At least from this mission it looks like there is a bit too much gun fighting and not enough hacking but could be different

Instead of them making everyone playable they shouldve had a cast of about 10 pre chosen people with different abilites who you can switch between because due to the everyone's playable they cant use names like this trailer did which made it quite immersive also that surrender and resist thing would be cool because you couldve chosen if you kept fighting the operative would be fully dead next time theyre hit like that while if you surrender you just get imprisonment
