I can't believe how perfect that looks like London I lived there for two years but haven't been back in awhile and it gave me goosebumps

The gameplay looks cool but I'm extremely skeptical about the story, knowing that its Ubisoft this whole " play as any character " thing is going to be another one of their incredibly ambitious ideas that will nonetheless fall extremely short and turn into a gimmick. Hopefully it doesn't suck.

I am hyped right now, just the fact that you can finally fight without relying on an animation takedown all the time in a watchdogs game is nice. The part where there are different way to go through a mission and recruiting different types of people is a huge plus as well

I love that they are giving us freedom to pick the vibe of the characters. Personally I like being able to find more gritty serious personas vs exclusively campy hijinks. This game is gonna be wonderful.

For the next game, Ubi should forget about the Play-As-Anyone thing, and go with something like Socialize-With-Anyone. Meaning, any NPC can become related to your character - meet, help in a mission, interact, go out together, pick you up in car, pick them up in a car, date etc etc etc. This would make the most living breathing world. At some point you would have many contacts with different abilities and professions in your phone and you will be able to even get together with let's say up to 3 at the same time. Which can open the door to interactions (agreement/disagreement) between these NPCs. They will have actual daily routines based on their profession/personality and you would be able to observe anyone's routine in real time.

I just want to create my team of soccer hooligans and run the streets of london. I can't wait, my most anticipated game in a long time.

For me, this game is almost perfect and the type of game I've been dreaming about and hoping for, for 2 decades. It's the most anticipated game in my lifetime, and I'm 61 years old now. It's also my all-time favorite game and it won't even be out for another 6 weeks, but it takes me about 10 minutes of viewing a game, to determine if I will love it, like it, not like it or hate it. I've owned over 500 games and I only purchased 1 that I hated, but I got it in the bargain bin for $9.99 years ago at a Game Stop store, when they still were selling PC games. Now all my games are on Steam or Ubplay and I sold all my physical copies of games to a Half-Price bookstore. The only thing that is missing in this gem of a game, is a semi-hardcore mode, where we could play in Permadeath mode, while also being able to recruit and replace any and all dead Deadsec team members. The current Easy default mode is too easy, where no one dies, except for those that have a negative attribute of randomly dying. The optional hardcore mode is too over the top and if any of our Deadsec members die, they cannot be replaced. If we lose all 60 of our Deadsec team members, it's game over. A semi-hardcore mode would make the game funner and more enjoyable. Other than that, I don't have one other complaint about this game. If semi-hardcore mode is never implemented, I will play on hardcore and just surrender when in a unwinnable situation. All team members lives matter in hardcore mode. The other downside to hardcore mode, is that when we have recruited the 60 team member cap, no one else can be recruited for the rest of the game, except for someone hired on our team that randomly dies, but I'm not even sure if they can be replaced. On top of that, since no one else can be recruited, we will no longer care if we blow up, run over or shred to pieces all the rest of the NPC's in the game. And lastly, we would lose all those NPC side missions when we could no longer recruit anyone. A semi-hardcore mode fixes all those problems. I keep messaging Ubisoft to please implement a semi-hardcore mode, but without enough people requesting it, like they requested Aiden Pearce in the game, I'm sure that my pleas will be ignored. I'm still hoping for it though. Time will tell!

Tip: If you want someone for head on assault. Recruit an elite enemy. Want to go in restricted area which are for certain peoples only. Recruit an enemy commander of that faction.

@Ubisoft How smooth the animations work, and how the damn sick camera angle, and the slow downs (these little time freezes) look like, are way better in the trailer, than in the actuall game. I really hope u guys will patch the same quality into the game itself aswell. Also, the open world itself is looking so copypaste in every corner. The houses, the grafitti, the restricted areas. WD2's world was way bigger and PACKED with an insane amount of beautiful and believeble details. Every corner of that City was so flashed out. Also the hacking in this city feels like a huge step back even from WD1. The gameplay elements are unbelieveble placed and not with the same depth, so that u need to think very creative and tactical about what to do next, or the fact that every restricted area or mission level feels so unice in WD2 and offers new unice challenges and Possibilities every time. Just take a look at WD2's penthouse mission. Its one of the best sanboxes in this game. And even in the openworld itself is every corner filled with fun and unice ways to use ur hacking skills and do some creative stuff, because the level design allowed it. In Legion the hackable devices are just randomly placed in restricted areas. So it literly no thinking required, and as a result, no creative ways to approach a challenge. Even if u try to pushen the limits and do some fun stuff. This is really bad. And sadly I dont think that Ubisoft will patch this. Because this requires a damn long time, a tone of effort and most importantly a tone of money.

Just completed this game. This game could of been beautiful like the other watch dogs.The landscape is 10/10 however you can’t really appreciate it to its full potential. The lack of first person driving has ruined the game, same with no real metropolitan police cars but real metropolitan police uniform. They could of atleast added blue lights to the police cars instead of red. The game doesn’t feel British.

Seems like they finally figured out what to do with this franchise and I'm on board

Ubisoft needs to work on their recruiting system and offer us a semi-hardcore mode, where dead team members can be replaced. Other than that, this game is 10/10 gem.
