@@BlueF350 lol its probably a $50k+ ski with a custom billet $30k plus 1200cc+ DASA style engine...most likely a handlaid carbon fiber hull etc etc. Skis like these are completely customized.
@@catfishandwhitetails something is already in the moon and told us to go back to earth never to go back. It’s either hermano made it before us or a completely different race altogether
That’s a badass on a standup…. I tried stand ups so many times and legit wrecked myself…. Watched my uncle master this… 27yrs later I’m still sucking at it… mad props🎉🎉🎉
@@gerry8072 No. Just when the stunt violates the laws of physics. It's not necessarily AI generated but it isn't real. Someone who's talented at video editing could have made the video. That isn't really a person performing those stunts.
@@brianwilson4861 bud, there's no reason to think this is fake. There are thousands of videos like this that you can easily find. These tricks are nothing special. Additionally, there's nothing in this video that would suggest it was edited or generated.
Not so much the engine as it is the jet pump and impeller. I think probably doesn't go faster than 30 maybe 35 mph and is tuned for nothing but acceleration to do stuff like this
Definitely the engine too. Probably a 1200cc or larger full billet DASA engine making like 130hp. You do have to have then right pump but the motor costs more then the pump
@@scooz14 Really ? Stock 1994 701cc......Yamaha FX1.. Hull stock as well.....Back flips and barrel rolls off its own wake. World Champion rider from Brazil or Argentina I remember. The smaller the Ski, the more responsive the handling.
Actually they can't. Unless you are on public waters stating no jetskis. Or stating no wake within so many feet or yards. I do stand up jetski freestyle all the time. I'm on a owned lake which I need a membership to get into. In the signing process it states jetski riders will be held accountable for any injuries.
Mine has a worked big bore 701 in it and it beats the super jet off the mark every time, and holds the lead til the real top end of the larger engine allows higher revs, but we have five Rickters in our garage and have been lucky when getting the kids involved that smaller skis have come up at perfect times for both kids now and one more hopefully joining at the end of the year
@@patrickswayze2596 bro I have been watching videos on the guys hitting the big ways but where I live we don’t get any huge natural waves like that in our river. But seeing this and the fact you can flip at a stand still like that makes me want one so bad now cuz I can always just make my own waves. How hard is it to do shit like this on one of these skis?
@@kachoww5981 hey my brother. Firstly I only freeride now after a devastating broken leg at the end of 2020, so taking those huge landings is just too much and the fear of re injuring my leg is always on my mind, but I also now have two Waveblasters which are seriously so much fun!.. My original has a worked ex race spec 701, and during covid we found one in bad condition real cheap. Stripped it bare, rebuilt it from scratch and threw the 1200 in to it, and both are slightly different in performance but both extremely fun. Create your own wake my brother. Do a few figure 8’s somewhere calm and practice the timing and speeds you approach your wake. Obviously boats can cause a dope V wake which can send you to the moon, ONLY if you have it set up for freestyle. I can do them, my 12 year old son is absolutely fearless and is winning races and comps against kids in their mid to late teens, but his freestyle ski compared to his race ski are totally different set ups with the sponsons designed to allow his craft to move so fluently through the water, but when he hits about 3/4 if too speed on that it gets real scary real quick drifting and sliding all over the place. But seriously man, just go somewhere safe and quiet, WEAR A HELMET please bro, but just practice creating the waves/wake you want then time them, what speed and how far/high etc, if you spend a good day on it and you are half decent to begin with you will nail it brother! Enjoy my man, I hope to see in the comments one day or your video of you nailing a backflip off your own wake… Cheers mate
@@grantduke318it's more than that though. The timing of hitting the throttle right when the cavity he created on the surface was filling back in. It's the same as when people do a cannonball holding a soccer ball and release it just right and it flies (seemingly) impossibly high.
Not really bro. Theory of displacement. He has a way beyond factory motor, ie larger displacement of cubic centimeters = increase of horsepower and torque = ability to do bad a$$ shiot.
@@sampettit1172 also mostly the bounce he does too. The buoyancy force + power from motor with extended duration underwater because of angle giving him a massive surge of force upwards and rotational momentum (depending on body weight orientation etc)
I was on site once and I got talking to this plumber. He turned out to be a world champion jet ski. Pretty sure he still holds the record for the most back flips. Absolute class
That's pretty sick the amount of power that thing has and it must be pretty light too because he's handling it like it's a toy a toy with a lot of torque that is
@@christian2854 Lmao imagine being so intellectually illiterate that you honestly think 360 degrees of rotation(one full rotation) on one single axis somehow adds up to 720 degrees of rotation(2 full rotations). Now if he’d inverted during that 360, you could count it another 360 on the vertical plane but he doesn’t ever invert nor does he rotate more than once on one single plane during any of his jumps. In any case you’re wrong. Go ahead and do the math for me smart guy, I’ll wait. 😂
@@TylerSmith-qx6uz hows the airbox work Ik it probably has a waterproof prefilter and such but how the hell doesnt it injest water I see videos of them basically going under for a few seconds and they dont misfire at all lol
The intake is high up and has a cover so unless the whole ski is swamped it won’t suck water, it’s got a Venturi style bilge pump that runs off the jet pump so when ever your on the throttle it’s sucking water out the hull.
I've done a couple of those tricks already purely by accident. So I knew someday someone was gonna start doing these tricks on purpose and start an all new sport.
