I love this episode and the message behind it. I've been struggling with clinical depression for the past year and is only just starting to feel like life could be good again. I used to be super obsessed with what people thought of me and getting validation from them. Looking back on it, the emotional pain/stress from so many miserable nights probably intensified my depression. This episode reminded me that self-love is important and seeking validation from other people is not the best way to look for it, and that other people are just as flawed.

The line "you have low standards for liking me" really hit home with me. I feel like people with high standards (like myself) have to be really careful to known our own greatness before dating someone because we would get stuck in a dilemma of dating someone with low standards which ruins the rest of the standards we have.
