He had another son with his wife who wasn't much older than poor little Dominic. He is a monster and I hope he gets found guilty, because that poor woman and sweet innocent child deserve justice. This horrible man is entitled to a fair trial and I hope he gets that, but I also hope and pray the jury finds him guilty, and he pays for this horrible crime. My own child isn't much older than sweet Dominic was and it turns my stomach to think of what they went through.

@@karic2519 oh yes absolutely, I’m confident she would have never come around him should she suspect he would injure the baby. I just feel like it was a clear threat of some sort and for the sake of the child, staying away would have been the best thing to do. Either way, such a tragedy.

Her poor sister had to keep her head buried in her husbands shoulder while the graphic images were shown. The POS defendant had to have his female attorney (who’s hairdo is sloppy and totally unprofessional) continuously whisper in his ear “stop looking at the images” because he was constantly glancing at them with out an issue. Looking at that sweet angel in a pool of blood didn’t affect him one bit. His attorney knew it and didn’t want the jury to see him as the cold hearted monster he really is!

@@sandyquino2015sometimes the court will issue a bench warrant. The police do not actively pursue bench warrants. So if they actually do get arrested they only sit in jail 60 days. I know women who are owed 10's of thousands of dollars

There needs set a more sobering precedent & heavier consequences for the disregard of a child. I mean, we hear of criminal charges for neglect every single day, why should this abandonment of parental responsibilities pale in such significance? Just my thoughts as a single parent.

@@sandyquino2015 Exactly! If your children are young DEMAND their father be held in contempt of court. That contempt comes from your divorce and his court-ordered child support obligation. I fought this for years to no avail. I wish I had pushed for the 'contempt of court' option. He died owning more than $50K in back child support. The years of financial struggle for me and our children was awful. I worked steady but never enough for the four of us. Precius little ones.

@stacy.3805 I haven't watched the sister's testimony yet but I did watch the medical examiner's...she said the necrosis was Below the surface. The first ME had to get a 2nd set of eyes on the "injury?" on the baby's thigh bc they weren't sure what was going on until they did an incision and then they found the dead tissue below. Whatever he injected that baby with killed tissue and muscle from inside out. 😢 that poor poor baby. But hopefully that will make it a little better for the sister/RN who missed it & thought spider bite. I pray he truly gets what's coming to him. We see yet another face of true evil. 👿

It was missed because who in their right mind would think someone could be so heartless to inject a child in that manner? The history of the injury (being outdoors) was consistent with an insect bite so that's what they went with.

I'm not going to say WHO did what to that poor baby as it's too premature to make these conclusions, however the hospital should've admitted that baby and watched him to see if he improved or declined. If we read the medical records, we see Dominic had a low grade fever that started. There are lab tests that can indicate an brown recluse bite. Red blood cells change as the bite infection advances, other things... This hospital and the pediatrician DROPPED THE BALL!

I'll bet it was a financial decision and insurance. They rarely admit you if you're on assistance, I know because I am on Medicare.

I wondered if it was some rare poison or some sort he got over the border in Mexico. I was googling lightly about the result of poison and symptoms and a couple are listed and they’re found in Mexico. I hope the find the source eventually 😢

I don’t think they will have an issue. This may not be a death penalty, they may not find all counts beyond a reasonable doubt but he will spend the rest of his life in prison.

The problem re: the injection care is that poor medical treatment was given and the amount of time that passed. He was not tested for poisons or toxins that can be specifically tested for. Even the bloodwork he had was standard. The Dr.’s and medical staff went off of what the family said and in part, failed him for treatments. Listening to patients is important but should not overshadow treatment, expertise and protocol.
