“She was my daughter and now she is everybody’s daughter…” very nice of her mom. Yes, she is definitely America’s daughter and we are super proud of her!
One of my favorites during the Olympics. She is a beautiful young lady… great spirit surrounding her… may she continue on a journey of success! God Blessed 🙌🏾
At 19, she conquered the Olympics. Now nothing can stop her from conquering the world. Congratulations Athing Mu... You have become an inspiration to many.
@@thondot3087 No problem my brother. Though we Black Americans love and embrace Athing, she has South Sudan genetically written all over her. Be well and stay safe!
Well said Bro. when its good the Baby is only remembered for the present...but when it goes bad the Baby and the birth water are thrown out to remind us of its true origins... Felicitations to the world!!!
Loved when her T&F Coach said that if you didn't know who she was, you sure do now. He also pointed out that NO one in the 400m race, ran as fast as she did in her 400m split (in the 4×400m). I pray the 2024 Olympic schedule will free up the time needed for her to do the 400m in addition to the 800m. Such a graceful, grateful young lady. Congratulations to her very proud beautiful mother as well. ❤🙏🏾❤
That's true but you need to take into account a rolling start vs starting from the blocks, it makes a big difference to times. That said I'd love to see her run a 400m at the worlds next year, maybe double with the 800m if the schedule allows, she's a terrific athlete.
@@mohawk393939 Sondra Richardson also said the longest leg of the relay is the lead, can be up to 415 meters. Also a running start would be a shorter lap than 400 because the clock starts on the hand off. This is not to take any thing from her accomplishments. It was great.
There's a huge difference between running a relay leg with a running start on an inside lane and running several rounds of an individual 400m from block to tape.
Love that she’s holding the South Sudan flag as well as USA ! She is just absolutely amazing and love to have her as well as Sydney be the face of USA track and field as Felix walks away beautifully
What's God got to do with it? Ok, I know, many are programmed to evoke God. Similarly, God is mentioned when things go awfully wrong. The ultimate shape-shifter.
@@brahmburgers I can mention whomever I want to mention...if you don't believe it is on you...I choose to believe... Yahweh will bless her and protect her from all evil... and hopefully from idiots like you...
You are a true champion an inspiration to all our young women of all races!!! You are so beautiful and you glow in your dark, amazing skin!!! Thank you for representing the United States Athing Mu!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Beautiful inside and out! Gratitude for GOD and others is what makes Athing Mu a TRUE champion. My hope is that she remains as humble as she is, now. Because there is waaay too much arrogance among the "celebrated." Athing Mu, your beauty and grace are your real gold. Shine on!!👸🏽🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅
The arrogance among the celebrated is simply a reflection of those who celebrate them. Maybe some of the people who like to complain should look in the mirror.
She deserves every bit of the attention she received. I think it is safe to say that baring any injuries, we will be hearing her name for many years to come. You go girl.
Congratulations Athing! Mom, you guys raised a bright young lady. I would like also to congratulate my former coach, Pat Henry. You're looking well. Great community support...God bless you all!!!
So humble yet so poised. Even when the world is upside down their is always a breakthrough. A product of 2020 pandemic so proud of you Athing and for bring the positivity out.
Wow... Athing is something else all together! I’ll be an OLD MAN in 20 years & watching her still running & winning & I’ll remember her humble beginning moments! Bless her & path ahead 🙌🏽✨💫
you are a beautiful person, never change, so down to earth, I have followed your career since high school until now so and will continue to, thank you Athing
Athing Mu, I won't be forgetting that name. What an incredibly humble young women. See really did the USA proud. The sign of a really great athlete is looking forward to the next challenge. In 2024 I have no doubt the 400 & 800 will be her's to win, if scheduling allows it.
In that case natives vs immigrants. Nowadays the anti immigrant narrative is peaking even among democrats. Even among immigrants like Harris. But when an immigrant wins - and all ths kids of immigrants even born in the US are seen as non natives too - its our kid.
Congrats to this newly awarded young gold medal winner Athing Mu ,here so humble she is here wow wish her many more success . Wow 800/ 4/400 m so cool n other USA medal winners on that team n other teams
I wish she would do some modeling with that gorgeous body, amazing skin tone, and those stunning teeth and eyes. She would look so amazing in designer cloths!!!
What an awesome, humble and great athlete! She ran the fastest split in the 400m (48.3) and wasn’t even in the 400m event, that’s scary and at 19 that’s something to behold!
Congrads!!!👏👏👏💐💐💐💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹I am so so very proud of you and glad for you...you have worked hard and perserved...you deserve every bit of fume! You have proven nothing is impossible to him that beleive; you're so humble and beautiful; sis keep on excelling! Greater things you shall do.❤
Athing Mu, is just and amazing awesome young blessed by Our Father God Olympian amen, amen, amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only after the Court for Arbitration for Sport denied justice to Caster Semenya. I wonder how long it will take for the rest of the world to complain about Mu.
Athing Mu, though it’s probably overwhelming, it was well deserved! You are awesome!!! You did a great job representing the United States of America, the greatest country there is. May God continue to bless you!!!
WOW, that's how you welcome a CHAMP look at her so happy to receive such a reception which is just wonderful to see unlike my fellow country people who are just key board warriors always mourning and whining and some have never even trained for shit all their damn lives. We have the best marathon runners but yet many individuals always finding fault with them for instance, if you win gold you are their own but when they win silver, bronze you are rejected, clowned and made to feel like a brady failure no wonder many are leaving for better opportunities where they are appreciated and the incentives way better than the peanuts they receive. Very, very, very ashamed of all the hate they received after Tokyo 2021 they know themselves and shame on them all.
