So odd since they do not act like Roman Catholics but rather more like Evangelicals. The only Catholic thing they have going is aligning with what is called the new Traditionalist Right wing minority Catholics that the Pope has even commented on he doesn't like.

Thanks for the report. When justices gave their introductory comments on the immunity case- i found them all , on the whole- condescending, insulting, flippant & confused , stupidity surprised...it seemed to become a farce .. I was very surprised at their attitudes. .
They're going to use one big case as cover for others. If they stick to the logic in Bruen, then the actual guy Rahimi will be all over the news as the guy they let have guns. If they make a sensible decision, it won't make news at all because there are bigger cases. They might decide against Idaho and release it the same day as some really bad decisions. Oral arguments on that one looked good for the DOJ.
While SCOTUS is on vacation, close up shop, move the offices to an undisclosed location, issue new badges, and refuse entry to Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett. 😎💙🇺🇸💙🇺🇸

Let's hope the judge applies the full extent of the law on July 11th. The contempt charges alone will have in in prison at Riker's into next Spring. 30 days for each offense, when attached to a similar formula for the 34 felony counts, will have him serving almost 10 years. Then, by next year, he will face extreme sentencing added on for the remaining cases that will have concluded by next year.
Unfortunately, they're class E felonies. Someone looked at all past convictions where that was the worst crime. Only 10% were locked up. We'll see a pre-sentencing report soon. Maybe all of the contempt of court will push him into the 10%.
The longer they sit on the opinions, the worse they tend to turn out. And it’s unbelievable that they would be sitting on the Trump immunity decision this long, knowing how important it is.

Yes. Congress can do impeachment, but apparently it’s very hard to accomplish. And other things, some of which they are already doing. Hopefully, they’ll be enough democrats in Congress so more judges can be added for Biden’s second term.

Although the Democratic appointed judges are working for the Constitution and America, the republican (lower case intentional) judges seem to be more interested in tearing down the Constitution for their own (and tRumps) republican agenda. Not the best situation for our country. The court needs to be re-aligned, especially when it comes to term limits and ethics guidelines. Vote 💙

Why even bother voting? Although I have voted third party it at least was for someone I had correlated thoughts with and I wanted them to get the minimum votes to get their money refunded. (John Anderson and Bernie Sanders). At least the Dems haven’t been captured by the corporates to the point of selling out the country. Biden fights to keep workers rights that the pubs then work to take away. Same for the usury interest rates on CC’s and other. At least the Dems are trying to do the right thing for the majority of us.

Dragging their feet on immunity, similar to Aileen Cannon’s ball and chain, should provide grounds for impeachment under dereliction of duty, when this issue of “critical mass” has been deliberately kicked to the curb!
It's only been 2 1/2 months since they argued the immunity case, so pretty normal for the 'Supremes." And that's quick compared to Cannon's lack of timeliness in making rulings.
It’s about time the people have a recourse to remove justices who make bad rulings. Making medical decisions without medical licenses, saying money and corporations have the rights of a voter, an unborn child is a person with rights… insane stuff should have a clear line to remove justices who make illogical decisions based on preference rather than reality and evidence

Biden won't rebalance the Court, Durbin won't hold Justices accountable, the Democrats failed to protect voting rights while they had a trifecta, the 5th Circuit is fully MAGA, as are most red state judges and legislatures. We have to vote for Democrats, but the reality is that legal pundits are just providing kabuki theater. The rule of law has been eviscerated.

Also something I missed at first, the DOJ Prosecutor quoted trumps "find" me 17,000 and some change remark in his answers. That is the way the Attorney said it. We know Thomas (my price is) will vote yes, Alito (I want a vacation) will vote yes.
