Great advice!! I actually took a gap year before going to college and it really helped me figure out what I was interested in and what I cared about enough to study for four years!! I have so many friends that regret the majors they chose at the beginning of college and I think these tips would have been super helpful to them and will be useful for future college newbies
Thinking back on it, a gap year would have been super helpful for me. That's definitely another option I forgot to consider and I'm so glad you shared that with people here. I definitely think it could help someone out as well. Ideally it's a great time to explore different things to see what make you happy and continue studying that. After all, college isn't always cheap haha
Focusing on the strategy instead of the skill is a great tip -- developing mental frameworks for yourself from reading sites like Farnam Street can help accelerate this as well.
I appreciate the support! I could say the same for you! What did you end up studying? or if you didn't, what field do you think you'd like to learn more about?
Absolutely! I think we all have our own paths to follow and the decision we make is absolutely personal. Hopefully by sharing my experiences, I can save someone else the confusion and frustration I went through :) Thanks for your comment!
Thank yaaa so much for all ur tips❤ I loved that u shared all what u learnt out of your college experience! And i enjoyed the mix of content in your channel! This is way creative❤
There are definitely a few things I wish I had known earlier on that would have made picking my major a much easier task. What are you planning on studying or what did you study? Let me know below :)
