i own i think 5 glosses now, 1 fenty, 2 vive, 1 tower28 and a Charlotte tilbury, but ive used up one of every fenty shade and 3 on fussy and 2 sweet mouth, marc jacobs, glossier etc..i love glosses and never really use matte lipsticks anymore, but something its definitely taught me is to stick to holy grails that work for me, because every time ive strayed from fenty i still prefer it over everything else, and as someone who loves trying new products, its definitely a restrain i am fighting lol and ofc i try new things still,, but im a lot more selective and like to read reviews or research products before buying them nowadays because i buy them with the intention i want to use the full product up at some point

Never throw away a clear gloss! Add some of your favorite powder blush, cream blush or eye shadow to it to create your own shade. I added some of my juvias place cream blush to my clear gloss and made it the prettiest pink to match my blush! I also added a little of my purple powder blush to my clear lip oil and gave it a really pretty purple tint! I literally saved 10 of my lip glosses and they all have a pretty different color to each one! I won't have to buy more lip gloss for the next 10 years and have colors now that you can't even find at the store:) so good! You can also add a tiny bit of your foundation to create a pretty nude gloss and if you have anything with glitter in it, add a little of that for some shimmer! There's so many cool tricks I've tried and glad I didn't throw my lip glosses out!

@@nyssfromtheabyss3839 I personally haven't used eyeshadow but can't imagine any negative effects happening due to the tiniest amount being needed to add a little color. If the eyeshadow isn't safe for lips, you probably shouldn't be putting it on your eyelids either. It really doesn't take much!

@@mstinamarie2550 One product can cause cancer (I have heard, not an expert or anything just saying) and it can cause cancer if you "eat" it. (also not sure but heard abt it) So it is safe on ur eyes. at least more than ur mouth, but like you said a tiny amount probably wouldnt have any negative effects

I like to melt together lipgloss with anything in a stick and put it into a balm container. It makes a potted gloss that stays on a lot better and has a better and more convenient texture. If you make your own potted half-gloss with beeswax and castor oil you don't need to buy lipgloss ever again, which is great because they're the worst for synthetic ingredients and the most plastic oackaging.

I have been LOVING your declutter videos! Such a great way to overview a lot of product and really get down to brass tacks when it comes to what I should and should not consider spending on. I’m on a big conscious reduction wave in my purchasing, mostly because I find that I was caught up in discount purchases where I’d buy solely due to something being a “bargain” vs buying what I really need or truly, truly want. Needless to say, I’ve got plenty I don’t really want, and a few areas where I actually don’t have what I really need as far as performance. So thank you for taking the time to do this long-form content! I love a big long video! Edited to add… And I for one would love a declutter vid on the stick lippies too, as well as whatever other product type you deem fit. I really do think these are even more helpful at narrowing down and targeting what sorts of things I do and do not want to spend on.

Indulge in It from Revlon is hands down my favorite lip gloss. It’s pigmented but comfortable and not patchy, looks good all year round and makes my lips look hydrated and fuller. I have 3 of that shade in my collection, it’s so beautiful.

Is Revlon going out of business?? I recently discovered their glass shine lipstick balms and am in love. I wanna try indulge in it also! And rum raisin lipstick as well as their skin caring foundation! I hope they don’t disappear :( :( wish I could try it all at once but have to pace my purchases (and rum raisin is always sold out but I know super lustrous formula is my all time fav lipstick)

What did you end up getting? Ami cole in Excellence is probably my top Sephora pick with Innbeauty as a second, but the shade Merlot isn’t at Sephora :( Curious about Makeup by Mario lip balms too, swatched in store and loved the feel. Not that it matters because 10% is an insult for such a hyped sale so I’m getting nothing but concealer I actually need 😅

I haven’t tried City Lips, but I love the Sephora Collection cream lol stain/liquid lipstick (more mousse-y/not super drying on my lips) and their eyeshadow sticks. I’ve heard great things about their powder foundation, too.

The Nyx fat lip oil is my new holy grail. It’s as good as Clarins, not a dupe but almost as good for half the price per oz, I did the math. So anyway I highly recommend. Great video.

Yes to ulta brand hidden gems! An employee told me their plumped up pout is a dupe for too faced, but I haven’t tried it since too faced went on sale ( I only use it in the center of my lips farrr away from the lip line and have no issues!) also, have you tried lunar beauty lip oil? Apparently it’s Abbey Yungs fav so I’m curious. And last thing, yes pleaseee do a Declutter or comparison vid of tinted lip balms/butters/glossy click up pens etc!! Especially comparing Rom&nd to the western brands :) Thank you I’m loving these💝💘

I think the Fenty Gloss Bomb formula really changed the game when it came to gloss formulations (imo). Pre Fenty I distinctly remember glosses to be gloopy, drying, and not even shiny.

While I love these reviews, I’m guessing most of these are flavored or perfumed. The ones that have that hollow vanilla scent get nauseating after 15/20 minutes. I tried a few L’Oréal bullet lipsticks and they were heavily fragranced 🤮. I wish manufacturers would use something like orange, lemon or even grape scents & flavors. When a lip products smells like, and tastes like perfume, it’s a NO for me.

i only use essence shine shine shine glosses. dry lips? essence gloss. cracked lips? essence gloss. in need of a high shine lip? essence gloss. been using them for around 10 years (they changed the name but formula stays the same) and never looked back. i'm not even tempted, to be honest. i always have 2 or 3 of these and that's all i need.

I always put essence what the fake on as l start my makeup, so good! The only gloss in my collection that you didn't feature was the Neutrogena Hydro Boost, has the heft you like but might be verging on the too much pigment line for you. I've wanted that Elf black gloss for so long ❤

Talk about heft and stickiness, MAC LipGlass was the first “iconic” lip gloss that I owned. Couldn’t wear my hair down with it, though, or my whole ‘do would end up in my mouth. But. I remember passing the glass around to the girlies so we could refresh our lewk. Nowadays, I prefer the light, slippy oils. Thanks for this video. My Go-Tos right now are Maybelline lifter gloss and Nyx fat oil lip drip! I wear the nyx lip oil at night bc it has a nice smell and a blank taste to keep me from chewing on my lips 😅 and I'm OBSESSED with the lifter gloss, it's everything I've ever wanted in a gloss honestly, my holy grail ❤

I HAAAAATED the diamond plumper. It behaved like a cheap sticky 1980s gloss. Lisa Eldridge is my favourite formula. Not sticky or stingy. The fenty one isn't bad, but stickier than Lisa Eldridge

I feel like they are exactly the same as the NYX Fat Oil glosses. They came out way before them but I think maybe didn't have the Tik Tok hype, but they are really wonderful. Thick but not sticky, super ultra shiny, cushiony, nourishing, and smell yummy!

There’s a lot of pretty lip glosses but they need to work on a formula that is long lasting. Rommel Lon don’s 6 hr stay glosses are great and the clear one in particular is one of the best clear glosses because it does last for hrs.

I wanted to love the romand glasting water gloss so bad, but if it accidentally gets in ur mouth (cus sometimes I lick my lips) it tastes so frickin weird and honestly it’s pretty bad. I get so excited whenever I see you do a new declutter video Amanda!! I'm packing to move from my apartment to a house my partner and I just bought and I decluttered a LOT of my makeup yesterday because I was thinking of your videos! I don't have a ton of makeup to begin with, but I just had so many lip products and colors I don't wear and have no use for and I'd rather get rid of them to make room for things I'm actually going to use. 10/10 love these videos!

i don’t wear a lot of makeup but i do use lip gloss lip oil balms and chapstick but with no tint bc i personally just don’t like it i’m more of a sparkle and clear type glosses with flavors and roll in’s type stuff it’s just my preference

I'm actually just now considering my first lip oil's because Stila released a silver and gold luster and I want those kind of shades. The more unique or interesting the better is where I'm at with my collection.

I love that Rom&nd one in the clear shade. The touch of shimmer makes it so pretty, especially on top of the Canmake balms or the Peripera tints! I need to try those Chapstick lip oils! They look really good.

I don't like the lip plumping that has a cold minty feel to it. So I don't like the buxom ones. Any recommendations for some thing that doesn't feel like that? More of a warmth without being burning?

The only thing I hate about decluttering videos is that they tend to always get rid of drugstore brand. Knowing will that most high-end are crap as well... but again the whole aesthetic and what not.

tbh my fav lip oil is a 5$ strawberry scented one from l.a girl 🥺😭 its so shiny and lasts pretty well and smells like sanrio store candy
