I was there 3 months ago and all food was brought to table. I liked it better than when they had buffet. BEST LUAU in Maui 🤙

I just read on their website that they are requiring guests to wear masks, except for when eating. Were you there recently? Did you experience this?

We were there just before Covid so we didn’t have any experience with this. I know that Hawaii has relaxed their covid protocols so maybe the whole mask thing won’t be an issue by the time you travel.

The mask is mandatory I heard but they still took out the buffet. I wish it was the buffet. I m planning to head to Maui in August and I hope they could bring it back instead of serving at the table. I prefer getting foods that I like rather than wasting on serving foods that we may not appreciate

Great video, I’m currently in the research phase of deciding which Luau to book for our family. Serious question….approximately how long are you sitting on the ground? Hubby and I just turned 50 and sitting on the ground isn’t as comfortable as it once was but could tolerate it for a bit to get this elevated experience. Also is there enough food choices for picky eaters, two of the four in our group are picky. Thanks so much!

Hey thank you! It’s been a little while since we did this so I can’t remember exactly…but I know we arrived over an hour before the show started. Check out the website…I’m sure they’ll include some more details to help you plan your time!

No fire dance at this one…this luau is traditional to the Hawaiian islands and the fire dance is Tahitian.

No fire dancers at this show. This one sticks to the traditional Hawaiian style where the fire dancers are more of a Tahitian style. It’s a wonderful show though…we didn’t feel like we missed out on anything.

Haha! I’m just now seeing this as we just returned from 10 days in Kauai! We stopped by Hanapepe and did all of the LILO and Stich things...the girls loved it!
