I regret to the bottom of my heart waiting 2 years to open the YT channel. It's a side hustle but it brings me more happiness than any other thing. I did because I watched Gary encouraging us over and over again. Now back to work!
Thanks Gary! I'm over 50 & people look at me strange when I tell them I'm a eBay/Poshmark reseller. They usually stop laughing at me when I tell them I set my own hours, I work from home, I'm not stuck in an office when the temp is 60, 70, 80 degrees out, I can go hiking in the morning, I'm not stuck in rush hour traffic, & I don't have to worry about office gossip. Please keep filling our heads with POSITIVE affirmations. We need it. :)
Gary you don’t know how much I needed this. I’m 20 years old and because of your videos I have been understanding so much about how life really works. I fucked up so much in the past 2 1/2 years I really didn’t think I could make up for all the dumb shit I did back in college cause I was young and stupid and didn’t have anybody to tell me before hand not to get into the things that I did. 2018 I sat and I dwelled but I have always known I had greatness in me and continuously believe that things will get better. It’s been so hard to stop looking at my past and move forward but because of you I learned just how much time I really have and how not to take in other people’s opinions on my situation. 2019 is already off to a great start and I can’t thank you enough for changing my mental. I got a lot more ways to go but I never lose hope no matter how much I’m down. Thank you and I love you so much man 🙏🏾. Pray for a good 2019 for everyone this year
I've lived the regret game long enough. I'm working on getting my head straight and creating my next big thing. I'm 37, still have plenty of time. Thanks @garyvee for the message. I did accomplish 1 big goal after 3 years and hearing all the haters talk. Felt great!
I am 26+ and pursuing graduation in pharmacy due to some problems and performing well,at this age where all others are settled . Failure and past experience made you stronger and conquerer if you want. This video means a lot .

I’m 53 and regret not starting sooner. In my early 20’s I had the mindset to win and win I did at everything & then made bad decisions and dwelt within that misery. By my late 20’s I started a family and was afraid to take risks, now I’m failing forward until I succeed at retiring early and enjoying my life with my wife of 27 years. Fuck work, work, work, work, work, WORK! That’s all we do and can’t enjoy traveling like we want. We started a business and we are failing forward, and everyday and every week we see progress. It’s never too late!!! You just have to make up your mind.
I think that's my problem. I over think things, and I worry too much about what others think. I feel like that's why I resonate with a lot of Gary's material so much -- others have been holding me back, and here's this guy practically spilling his guts out saying to fuck what others think and just "do you." Perhaps I should finally start rolling with that mentality and stop being so scared. It's hard when you're afraid of getting kicked out (I'm living with relatives that will only basically support me doing things the "traditional way") but I can't be like that any longer. _The Manager_
Yep, talk to someone in their 90’s with regret for the chances they didn’t take and you’ll start you’re “to do” list the second you walk out of the room.
Doesn't matter who you are or how old you are, you can always take a swing and live without regret. On regret, you can either dwell and waste time on something you have no control over and is gone, or you move forward and take advantage of your life ahead of you. It's your choice!
Very wise words. I would so much rather say I tried and failed than never even gave myself a chance. Sometimes I've made myself look like a fool, but what the heck do I have to loose? Seriously!

when I was 20 I tore my ACL, MCL, and Meniscus when I was in a training camp for the NBA D-League (Now G-League) .. I dwelled on it for 6 years not doing anything while saying I was and scared to do my plan for fear of failure. 2 years ago I decided to go with my plan and it has been working out. My business is growing and during the first 6 months of this year I will be taking it full time. My next plan is to loose the 100 pounds I gained while dwelling on my injury. I am already down 20 pounds.
😒 7 years ago I planned to start a RU-vid channel. I didn't because I had other projects consuming all of my time. I regret not starting the channel back then, but then the project I completed set me up for life 😃. Moving forward...bringing this idea back to fruition....with new goals and trying to solve the daily tasks to make the new goals a tick in the box.
I am currently applying for master and start to regret why I didn’t study hard during undergraduate years. this video reminds me to look forward. Thank you, Gray.

I had to hear this, i had to absorve this, and i'm going to hear this again and again until i'm trully through. I have a new business starting up, one that will help people, and i need to believe in myself to make them believe that we can help them.
This video strikes home to me and is a wonderful way to start the New Year. I have had issues in life with thinking about the past and how it has effected me now and throughout times I was struggling. I ended 2018 with the idea that the past was the past it didn't kill me it made me wiser and stronger. The fact that I wake up lets me know I have a second chance in life to accomplish those dreams goals and conquer my ambitions. The fact that the past has never gotten someone anything but left in the past speaks volumes. Have to let things go it happened and its time to move forward. I agree I don't want to be 90 and having those should have would have conversations. It will be about all the things I did do and how my actions have helped humanity in the now and future. I know its easy now to say but with this video saved I am going to watch this video every time that past idea comes to mind no more will I be trapped to the past only the now and future. Hey gary, I found it super interesting about what both my grandfathers say. I do not hear anything about regret from them. They are the opposite of the usual elderly bc they lived everything they could. One of them built a huge business and that was his life (dedicated to it), and the other one worked his ass off every fucking second of his life. And no regrets. From their stories and experiences they shared, I learned how doing your thing and taking ur chances and swinging the bat is so worth it. Bc I notice how happy they are right now. No regrets!

Taking action is the best feeling ever. It should fill you with excitement! I am moving to the US from the UK in 8 days! I was dwelling and doing fuck all for 3 months thinking 'do i do it or do i carry on doing what im doing' until I decided I needed to do it and try,handed in my notice at work and next weekend it is go time!
His employees are lucky to work “with” him, not because he’s so damn great but because he’s legit the most real I’ve seen in a long time. It’s refreshing to have someone that cares so much about everyone getting a piece.
🤦♂️ I think the biggest regret someone can have is not trying something they really wanted to do because something else got in their way. Someone once said to me "anything can be done" he was right.
Gary, I have to say I have watched a lot of your stuff and you focus a lot on millennials or teens and I get that, they have the luxury of living in their Mom's basement but there is a large number of people that are looking toward making a huge impact in their 30's and 40's. I get that we have the responsibility of family and might be working a 9 to 5 but fuck we are still working towards making a life that we love and have dreamed of. You have the old school philosophy that focuses on what is important and trust me we are doing just that. I will finish with I really appreciate that you bring a level of reality to what it takes to make shit happen.
This really helps me a lot and I want to say thanks to the guy in the video because It’s sometimes even a struggle to think about what happened 3 mins ago....When you think about it to much it just gets worse so it feels grate to be able to just let it go!
