If you need a makeover, no need to wait for someone to do something nice for you. Walk into a salon & bam, done. Walk into a store & buy yourself clothes, done. Go to a makeup store & have them show you how to do it. No need to wait on anyone else to help you. Don't wait years on someone else. Take responsibility for your own happiness.
Wild Plum: Oh, I loved that Rachel kept touching and petting her because I felt like Rachel noticed she was about to break into tears and wanted to comfort and welcome her to the show. I always feel safer when hugged or touched. Everybody is different! 😊
Me, too. When I had long hair, it was weird, people thought it was perfectly fine to run their hands through my hair; no warning, they just went for it.
celyncapo I thought I was the only one that felt that way. I cannot stand someone touching me (doctors, dentist) and in my face. I repeated this to someone and I was told that is called personal space.

Amazing makeover for this mom of 3! When I was in my late 30's, I grew mine out w no haircuts for 18 months & it was just below my hips. I donated to Locks of Love & my stylist asked my 3 times, are you sure! I said yes, absolutely. when she was finished, it was put into 2 Ziploc baggies & they weighed both & together, it weighed 5 lbs!!😮 I said, "No wonder I was getting headaches!" My one time donation was 13"!!😀
@@kaylamesser5733 meh...I’d say that’s actually an outdated opinion. I’ve seen many older women with long hair who looked stunning. If it’s healthy and well taken care of I say rock it. It’s also more about what THEY think. Who cares if OTHER people like it?
She looks good ! The right length ,the right style ( wavy,or curls ! ) .And a lot of Asian ladies ( I used to be ,too worry about colouring )are afraid to colour their hairs ! They don't realize there are other things they can do besides permanent colour, such as this putting the gloss on !👍
Its not that mothers dont care to look their best and put themselves first , its that majority of the time they arent able to do that because all of their attention goes to the family , the house and the children . Im so glad she got this oportunity this day .

Love how they make women think they don't have a sexy head toss unless the hair is neck length or shorter. I have yet to find a makeover where they beautify long hair. Crimps, dangling curls and strands......even glamorously putting it up. Smh. Stop letting these cosmopolitan charlatans butcher you.
Omg why hair stylists always so into cutting long hair I got long hair up to my hip bones and I don't even go to the hair salon anymore cause I'm tired of defending my hair length 🙄
I hate that cutting off a woman's hair, when it is as beautiful as hers, seems to be the first thing the stylist wants to do. Surely a makeover can be done without destroying all that gorgeous hair!
Rachel I know you’re a New Yorker but tone it down 3 notches pleaseeeeee let your guests speak we know it’s your show they won’t steal the spotlight I like your raspy voice but so many comments point out how much you interrupt others and don’t touch ppl so much keep different cultures in mind maybe you were trying to comfort her OR at least read the signs of how uncomfortable they feel also let ppl cry if they want too cry. I’m sure you meant well but they should be able to express themselves. Last but not least a makeover would be nice for you too! You deserve it since you give so many others a blessing.
They always take away the glasses in these makeovers. Does that mean that people who wear glasses can’t be beautiful? If you took my specs, I would be blind!
