@Tong Zou I adore and prefer the high end Swiss mechanical automatics, but Seikos Spring Drive watches are the most technically impressive watches that exist IMO, best of mechanical automatic and quartz... they are the ultimate watches.

Just a quick heads up. Most F1 teams have watch sponsor (Williams have Oris for example) so depending on which team they are driving for that current season is the watch they will be wearing. It’s in the contract, therefore not personal choice!

@@markplayford5836 But then again some drivers had personal watch sponsorships. Michael Schumacher had a relationship with Omega independent of Ferrari (which, to be fair, did not have a watch sponsor at the time), and Lewis Hamilton just had a one-off IWC made just for him. Although it's true that most drivers are tied up to their team's watch sponsor, from there still came some notable driver-watch relationships.

Good point. I remember Massa wearing a really garish Richard Mille too. Cannot remember if he had a tie in with them at the time, earliest one I can think of was Steve McQueen and Tag Heuer or perhaps just Heuer then perhaps?

I enjoyed the professional format with your HD photographs and short synopsis of each watch to the side. Might also "show" the name of the person you spotlight for those who are visual learners/hard of hearing. Very nice with a positive attitude for those of us who enjoy learning more about the character of each brand and who prefer them.

Congrats on 100k Teddy! Proud to say that I found your channel when it was pretty young and at the same time I myself was also an 'infant' in the watch world. And i got to say your channel really helped me to discover and learn about this amazing hobby that I was so foreign to. Now I have built up a well rounded collection that im proud of after being in the hobby for half a year (Seiko SKX, Hamilton Khaki King, Tissot Visodate). I would love to know what Ted Danson, ak Sam Malone wore on Cheers? It was round gold or rose gold watch with a white dial. He wore it on most of the shows. It had large clasps at the top but none at the bottom. Brown leather strap. Very curious.

Vide idea - most modest watches worn by the richest people - best example I can think of would be Bill Gates wearing a Casio Duro. The point would be to highlight that you don't need to spend a ton of money to enjoy wearing watches.
