Understand that you're watching what appear to be the horribly done 'remastered' version of Buffy now used by nearly all the streaming services. One fun feature of this remaster; brightness levels was significantly increased so that scenes that was previously darker or in shadows (like the stunt actors) can now be clearly visible.
SAT was a standardized test American kids had to take to apply for college, but fewer schools are requiring it now. And Giles is pronounced like Jilles. It's really a great show, worth watching the 7 seasons.
You kind of have to be familiar with all the characters to get the most out of Band Candy, but I'm glad you're returning to this series! There's so much potential for all over the place reactions like these with Buffy, you could jump to season 5 maybe, then 2, then 7, and back to 1 and it would all be entertaining. Some more recs are maybe 5x14, then 2x03, then 7x02 maybe, or one of the last three season 6 eps, then like the season 2 finale or 3x07, or 5x19 is a good one. Or even something from Angel. Maybe some others can comment more episodes with some more meat in them that has to do with the plot more. That is, if you're continuing the Buffyverse.
So great to see you react to earlier episodes. Seasons 2 and 3 have lots of gems. School hard or Halloween from season 2 are great. Passion is more plot heavy, also a great to react to. And maybe you'll explore some Angel episodes down the line!
As you commented on the lack of Spike in the credits, he does actually appear from season 2 as supporting cast. A good Spike episode from the early days is season 3 ep 8 Lovers Walk. Honestly one of the best Buffy episodes all round tbh. Season 3 episode 13, the Zeppo, would also be a good one to react to as you only figure out what's going on half way through the ep.
How do you have an affair when both parties are single? 😁 EDIT AFTER THREAD COMMENTS: For the confused, I'm talking about T.A.G.'s reference to Giles and Joyce. Not Willow and Xander.
@@Buffy8Fanveteran fan? Then you should know that they're both in long term relationships, so they're cheating. Unless you mean they're not married, so it's technically not an actual affair - but they're in high school FFS, everyone knew what was meant by affair in this context.
@@rhiannonlee7063 Neither Giles, nor Joyce are in relationships at this point. That's who T.A.G and I were refererencing. *I wasn't talking about Xander and Willow. They definitely **_are_** cheating.* I assumed people would know who I was talking about after watching the video and listening to who T.A.G was referencing. Sorry you misunderstood.
@@notthemovie well, like Buffy said in the episode she dies : "I don't want to live in this world if these are the choices. If everything just gets stripped away"
