Okay, take it or leave it, but this movie is freaking awesome. Joss Whedon was disappointed with this first incarnation of Buffy. BUT thank hellfire he persisted the concept into a long running multi-faceted story. Buffy Summers could slay me anytime she wanted. Slayers are hot!

Some of the events from this movie are Buffy's backstory in the show. (The vampires in the gym that burns, the watcher who dies.) There is a comic book that tells the story of how things happened with show Buffy.

Hey Shalaya! You thinking about reacting to the Buffy show? It's pretty long but so so so good, Sarah Michelle Geller kills the role of Buffy amazingly, all the cast are amazing for continuing the long show while dealing with Joss Whedon's abuse.

@@shalayahomebodytv They were both in _A Time to Kill_ also, but I think they didn't have any scenes together. It kind of makes sense to go into the family business, though. But they could have some kind of program to get new blood (so to speak) too.

I agree. It's too full of nepotism. Honestly, I can't get too mad because if I had a parent in the industry, I'm milking that connection. But I respect them more if they still go to auditions and don't wave their names around expecting stuff
@HuntingViolets
@HuntingViolets 10 месяцев назад
@@shalayahomebodytv I think a lot of them do. And then, sometimes they have different names from their famous parent, like Angelina Jolie (not in Sutherland's case, but it's not like everyone would necessarily assume). I like a lot of the actors who come from acting families, and I don't think they should not be there or anything, but breaking new people in is important. Just repeating myself now. Yeah, connections are important, though.

I have not even finished your clip and I am cracking up. I saw this at the movie theater w/ my childhood friend only b/c Luke Perry from 90210 was in it and we were pleasantly surprised and laughed out buts off. When Paul Reuben a.k.a Piwi Herman may rest in sleep, when he came the screen everyone cheered. He had been blacklisted in Hollywood. Lastly Buffy - was in a good horror movie Flowers in the Atatic (80s version). The book is even more messed up.

I didn't hate it for the Watchers. It could've been cool if they went into detail and maybe changed the concept. It's like if he was reincarnated into different bodies' iseka style. Or if he just changed adult bodies after he died (i.e., doctor who). Or maybe if his life was tied with the Slayers, like if she died, then he dies because he has to be born each time in the same time period each time to train the Slayer. Lol, I've been thinking about this way to much
