I never understood why Mitchie was so embarrassed by her mom being the cook. I would tell anyone who asked about it, like, "yeah, we made cookies today. Do you want an extra one?" Easy way to make friends.
@@yourbabytee I don't even care abt the movie just wanna say that classes exist and a business owner is a different position than cook. I can see kids in a cafeteria type setting making fun of a cook, but not the owner really
@Kendall Miller-Rider better yet just say I have two moms and a dad and they’re in a polyamorous relationship. It’s the music business, I’m sure they wouldn’t bat an eye at that.
The more i watch this the more i wonder if having him be upset that his allergies, not preference, were ignored by the kitchen was the best way to have him be "the diva" who needed a reality check. Give him a less reasonable reason to be upset is all im saying
@@artemischii i see what they were going for but having a potentially dangerous allergic reaction is actually a valid thing to lose your head over. And i say that as someone who works in customer service
This was back when it was common for people to claim they had a food allergy to avoid food items they hated, such as tomatoes and onions, to ensure restaurants paid to their request. Now that faking an allergy is seen as despicable behavior, allergies are taken more seriously.
honestly what i always loved about this movie was that he just 'knew the lyrics' because he wrote his part, and he wrote it after hearing her in the cabin, so he wrote it as a duet and thats why he was looking for whoever sang the part he overheard, that also just makes the part "youre the missing piece i need" hit harder, im a grown man and im defending camp rock, what the hell
I just watched the film for the first time today and the whole time I was saying I bet she steals the book sings the song and convinces the boy that she's the girl so mitchi (if that's how you spell it) has to find a way to prove it was her but when I found out that didn't happen I was shook and I wanted to rewrite the film like that 😂
there’s a deleted scene where tess sings the song to shane, it’s not in camp rock anymore because they took it out because tess came across as too mean
Omg I've only JUST realised that as Tess's mum is leaving, Tess is literally singing "come on, come on, look at me"! I've seen this movie so many times, can't believe I never noticed before.
In that scene where Joe was serenading her after one compliment lol Demi said she wasn't acting, that really was the moment she fell in love with Joe lmaoooo
19:35 I'm so glad somebody else realized it. Like how did she just go from being in Tess' group the whole movie to just switching groups right before going on stage.
@Madeline United I'm saying he has a British accent, but it leans a little Australian, which makes sense because all of our accents have the same origin. Lots of Americans get confused because they're not overly familiar with British and Australian accents and can't always tell the difference.
You know what is surprising, it is when Tess found the song and instead of singing it for Shane, she just framed her for stealing to prevent her from singing the song at final jam. Isn't that weird, I mean most mean girls would've claimed the song as theirs but Tess didn't, and it proves what she said about how she isn't a liar................ Nevermind I just realized that Tess couldn't because their voices being different.
Ok DON’T GET IT TWISTED. Shane didn’t just forgive Mitchie cause she has a good voice, he forgave her cause he realized she was the girl singing in the beginning of camp and he’d been searching for her. AND he knows the lyrics because he wrote those lyrics 😂 it’s a mash up of his song and her song lmao. Never thought I’d be defending this one dimensional plot lol
Marrit Wolff, de Yeah...you’re right. I never claimed it did lol. But I don’t know what more you want from a Disney channel movie. She was “punished” for her ways with the silent treatment and dirty looks from friends lol. For Disney, that was enough for her to learn her lesson. PS: I wasn’t defending Mitchie, I was clarifying for Dylan because he missed important plot points (why they both knew the lyrics to the song in the end, why he cared about Mitchie at all.). I was *defending* what he believed were plot holes, but were really just poor listening skills on his part. 😂
idah no worries haha. So the story is, Joe is like a disgruntled diva. He overheard Demi singing a melody at the piano that he loves, but doesn’t know it’s her. Then they meet and become friends, they are hanging out and he’s showing her his song he wrote. It has same melody as the song he overheard her singing (again, he still has no idea she was the singer). So he’s searching for this singer cause she’s “the voice he heard inside his head” but can’t find her. Demi finishes her song that accompanies his, cause same melody. Performs it - he realizes it’s her he’s been looking for all along. This is basically a Cinderella storyline.
dylan fully expecting demi lovato to win and cockily saying "anyone got any guesses" and then them saying Margaret dupree won and the utter shock on his face made me actually cackle
The first time I ever watched Camp Rock was this video, so I called her Frizzy (because I didn't know her name) for so long. I was shook when I heard her actual name when Disney+ came out. I don't remember it, though, so I still call her Frizzy.
Thank you! I never understood why they made Kevin's character in both this and their TV show so dumb...I think it's because he's the most chill and sweet of the three so he fits into that Himbo territory and they seem to think there has to be a Himbo in every movie or show 🙄
Did anyone else notice that at 15:01 , where they are canoeing... they both are rowing in the opposite direction so the canoe is just circling in one spot ?? 😂😂
So first he tells me he hasn't watched Camp Rock before and now I find out he doesn't even know which jonas brother is which. He literally slaughtered my childhood.
@@NeoSimmer no fucking shit Sherlock but its Monday in Australia right now where i am from and watching it so yes it is still technically commentary Mondays for those who it is Monday when he posts it.
Dylan: Watches She’s the Man - calls the English guy a Russian the whole way through. Dylan: Watches Camp Rock, calls the English guy Australian every time he is on screen. As an English 24 year old, who has never lived in another country, I am DESPERATE to know what accent he thinks I have ! 😂
Eliziro ._. Nick became more popular than Joe during that time so that’s why he has more scenes, including the song about toe nails haha and Kevin never got any attention
If Dylan watches camp rock 2 and gets to that part where Nick is singing to that girl called introducing me and that lyric about him only loving cheese on pizza and home made quessadia otherwise it smells like feet to him..I can see Dylan saying: HOW DARE YOU NICK HOW DARE YOU and he goes to get some cheese and eats it while watching
I just binge watched so many of your Videos and I Love How much effort you put in this 💪🏻🙏🏻 and i really appreciate it How Long they Are Just Made my Night thaaaaanks 🙏🏻
