After 18 years of marriage to lawyer Charles (Steve Harris), Helen (Kimberly Elise) is shocked when he announces he's ending their marriage and shacking up with Brenda (Lisa Marcos). Helen retreats to the house of her grandmother Madea (Tyler Perry), who helps her destroy much of Charles' property, earning her house arrest. Well see. Tyler Perry does base some of his films in spirituality and because I was raised in church this was very easy for me to break down. Not a lot of people will understand these points but if they knew anything about his earlier films they would know this.

@@DagiTingz You should! I’m a 96 baby and I would say that I grew up more on the earlier plays instead of the movies. I wasn’t too big on the musical parts MOST of the time but the plays itself has more raw vibes to them.

I hope some of the plays are on your Tyler Perry list 😩 I’ve always felt like they were better than the movies. Most people don’t like them because of all the singing😂. If you do decide to include some, I would suggest: The marriage counselor, Madea goes to jail, and Madea’s big happy family.

If Brenda actually said yes to the doctors to resuscitate Charles at the hospital, that would show she still cared for Charles even if she was still after his money. But her saying no to that was cold and selfish. Mmmm I think that’s to show morality. I mean Charles could care less about it morals because the thing to do is be honest with your spouse and communicate before doing all these heinous things. But for her she needed to close the door because in order for her to be truly happy with Orlando she don’t need NO TIES anymore with Charles. So her mother was right. Cause Charles thought he could get her back so easily
