I actually don’t mind that you didn’t watch the pilot first. It’s nice to get someone with a fresh perspective on the show itself, as it was kind of meant to be seen, in a way. You should still watch it eventually though, as many other people have already said.

There is also an arm hanging out of the fridge, a lamp post made from a spine, a lamp shade that is different shades of human skin sewn together, an urn on a wheelchair WITH A DINNER PLATE SET OUT FOR IT, and a kid's head on the wall. When you go back and look at the dinner scene, you can tell that this family is all kinds of messed up.

3:40 Sinner demons, I think are the only ones who were originally human. The other types of demons are mostly native to Hell. Imps, hellhounds, and succubi are all Hellborn, for instance.

I love how, every reaction that I've seen, NO ONE noticed the spinal column and pelvis lamp, the child's head trophy, or grandma/pa's urn on a wheelchair seen in the dining room. As for the pig's head by itself, a lot of states out west, and to the south, would eat something like that; heck, some places have cows tongues as a regular meal, or even a delicacy.

I cant wait until you get to later episodes, your comment section will probably soon be full of comments saying you should’ve watched the pilot, and I agree😭But don’t feel too bad about not watching it first, nothing *too* important was skipped. I honestly didn’t care for the pilot much but this series really gets better with each episode. I love episode 7 SO much and am so eager for you to get to it

Late to the party here, but there are hellborn demons (Imps, Succubi, etc.) and there are Sinners. Charlie, for example is hellborn. She can die, however she doesn't have a soul. Sinners can also die, but basically the accepted canon is that they just kinda respawn or come back to life. Only way a sinner dies is if they are killed with an angelic or blessed weapon. Sinners usually take a form that relates to how they lived/died and their sins. Angel Dust's entire family, for example, are all spider demons because they're all involved in a "web" of organized crime. His family were mobsters.

In one of your questions related to humans being demons. There are actually two types of them who resides in hell. Those like ms. Mayberry who were once human are called SINNERS and those born IN hell, from parents that are BORN IN HELL too, are called... Well.. hellborn demons☺️

In the hierarchy of hell there are hell hounds (born in hell), then Imps (born in hell), then sinners(not born in hell), then demon royalty (born in hell).

Fun fact: i have no idea if someone has mentioned this or you’ve seen Matilda the film. The teacher’s voice actor was the little girl that played Matilda and the little girl from miracle on 34th street. Both films are from the 90s so she’s obviously an adult now.

Sinners are the humans that died and got send to hell, which all of the main cast of Hazbin Hotel, other than Charlie, are. Now the rest of the demons were all born in hell. All of the main cast of Helluva Boss for example are. Now one interesting thing about the sinners is their appearance correlates with the with the circumstances of their death in some way, which is a nice little detail to look out for and think about whenever a new sinner gets introduced in the show.

Sinners appearances also are affected by their life as well as their death. Angel Dust and his family= in life his family was a Italian mob family. In death, although they differ some from each other, they all have a spider form, even his sister Molly who didn't go to Hell (at least that was the lore so far) Alistair= He was a serial killer who hid the bodies of his victims in a field used by deer hunters, in death Alistair has some elements that are deer-like. Loopty Goopty & Lyle Liptin= they were mechanical geniuses in death they became robot demons. Yes robots, I thought it was cyborg but sites say they are classed as robot demons. Here correlation to death is as obvious as elements of life as their forms reflect the changes caused by advanced aging accident. Loopty is scrawny & Lyle is fat. Also Lyle has piano teeth.

@@NateAlyn I never got the chance to play it myself due to my PC not being good enough at the time, but I've watched multiple let's plays and it's always such an amazing experience to watch others discover such an amazing game. But it'll never top the experience of discovering it for the first time. They also managed to redo that with the Echoes of the Eye DLC, which almost felt like how it felt to experience the game for the first time again. Definitely one of my favorite games ever, even though I haven't played it. It's just that good!

I’m sure this has been answered by now, but yes there is a difference between sinners and demons. The demons, like Stolas, Charlie, the imps and hellhounds, are born in hell and are naturally as they are. Sinners, like Mrs. Mayberry, Angel Dust, and Loopty, are humans who died and went to hell, and each of them end up appearing differently depending on their sins and whatnot. Honestly one of my favorite things about the world of this series.

Honestly, in the South it's not too uncommon to eat just a pigs head lol, I went to Walmart a few weeks ago (rural Oklahoma) and there was whole pig head in the meat section. People eat them roasted.

Um, no offense but you shouldve watched the Pilot first. You understand the characters better. Please dont continue this series until you watch the pilot. Because remember, an episode 1 is not the same as a pilot

So we have sinners and demon, sinners were human but died and were sent to hell, while demons were born in hell. Demons such ass imps (they are red and have this white and black stripes on their horns) ,and hell hounds like Luna, then you also have sinners like Vaggie or Angel Dust. Then Charlie is a demon because she was born in hell

Who cares about the pilot? It’s an exposition dump with pacing too fast and subpar comedy compared to the rest of the show, and this episode gives the proper exposition correctly without being annoying with it. They are assassins that are hired to kill humans using Stolas’s book he allows them to have.
