During the beginning of tiktok's popularity, I would get ads for it by showing a mother threatening to hit her child with a belt, it was really disturbing. So I went to the play store's page and reported it and described the ad in detail. I haven't seen any ads from tiktok since.

Ya know, replaying some older mobile games made me realize just HOW far we've fallen. Freeblade, a game from 2016 (which won mobile game of the year BTW, highly recommend it) had: - A whole story mode and side missions - Fun combat - Insane customization that wasn't P2W - An entire orchestra writing its score ALL WITHOUT NEEDING ACCESS TO WIFI All this isn't even getting to the online!

About that question at the end, I've heard that generally advertising regulators are too busy dealing with the super scammy ads that people both actually fall for and suffer financial damage from (such as ads with links to ransomwear and the like) that all the other messed up ads are usually considered a low priority problem.

My personal favorite ads are the ones that blatantly rip off something else. I've seen: -connect the tubes to change the waterflow, *But the protagonist is Peppino from pizza tower.* -remove all the blocks by tapping on them *but it's Mommy Longlegs from Poppy's Playtime part 2 telling you to do it.* -balls nd ropes show a simple if dull gameplay... but it's playing a very slightly slowed down version of *Green Hill Zone.*

I encountered quite a number of mobile ads while playing mobile games and what frustrates me the most about them was that a lot of those ads have people screwing up the games when it isn’t that difficult and I can’t even do it right because it’s not real. It’s even worse if there’s someone in distress that the person failed to help.

I'm getting the whole spectrum of ads. From the benign like car or P&G commercials, to the bingo scams with mute women and sexually charged love songs that have no relation to the game at all, to the horrors that are the "Fail Button" commercials. How in the fuck does Google allow any of these?
