Well the worse part about ads let'splay is that the footage is actually an add by itself. The people are told to react and read a script but they don't play anything, at best they react to the ad like they're playing it. ...sure their parents must be so proud of them.

I think one of the best videogame commercials back in the day was for Battlefield 2. In the commercial you saw an life-action reporter interviewing a soldier, who says that everything about BF2 is awesome and you can be anything you like, like a soldier, medic ect. The reporter then leans in and ask "Can you be a woman?"

Why cant everyone took notes from how Japan advertises things. I have been to Japan several times in my life, and many commercials are so intense and fast paced. From vidoe game trailers, to Super Sentai toys, to even a happy meal commercial, these commercials are just as entertaining if not better then what ever show im even wacthing. Diamondbolt, please do a video reacting to Super Sentai toy ads.

Early game commercials were weird. Japan had the right idea making stop motion and animated ones. Though that Majora's Mask one wasn't bad like you said. It kept the feeling of the game.
