This one was great! I will definitely appy it to the water in my game! :D but can I have a suggestion for a future video? I have used ALS system for animations and interactions with surroundings, everythign was nice and clean, but when I tried to retarget animations to a model I created, everything went south. I guess more people are going to have similar problems as well.

Glad that you liked it! Ah yes the ALS system implementation can be a true headache :"D, maybe I'll do a tutorial for it in the future... but for the meantime try to retarget the animations to a ready model from Mixamo (to be able to debug if the problem from the model itself or from a missing step in unreal engine) and then you can go more smoothly from there

@@MoBassem Thank you, I'm going to try mixamo definitely. But I have to say, that I managed to get it kind of working the hard way: I extracted the skeleton as fbx and manually attached it in blender to my model, then had to weight paint manually. Now only my character's left leg is twitching weirdly a bit, but other than that everything is working properly :D

Nice! (But why not just use the 3D built-in voronoi texture for the surface and move it through the third dimension to get a dynamic water surface same could go for the normal maps just use perlin noise)

Good video, I think that you should add more time between "memes" in your videos, it doesn't feel good to the viewer to see memes/funny jokes every 10 second or so, it kills the purpose of the video, don't get me wrong, they're funny but I advise you to make them less frequent if that makes sens. Otherwise, you're going to get big someday and you're awesome to keep up the good work :)

is there a way to reduce the splashing when leaving the water/ jumping at low velocity?

There's always a way for anything! Hmmm, maybe for this one we can store the jump time in temp variable, and based on the seconds that we're in the air before colliding with water we'll determine which splash version to play. Ex: Low jump time = small splash High jump time = huge splash No jump time = no splash
