Legit I kept watching this over and over years ago and just thought I was super weird until I figured out what ASMR was. Still come back occasionally to watch for nostalgia reasons😂
I’ve come back to this video after 9 years! I had a random flashback to your lovely nails and tried so hard to remember what the nail technique was called to find it again. Brilliant video :)
I used a dark glittery blue instead of black and it gave my nails a 3-D affect. I was constantly stopped and complimented on my nails by random people. One of the swirls ended up looking like a dove. Thank you so much for the designs and idea. Keep up the great work!
For anyone having difficulty, you should do it much faster than she is, or it the polish will be too dry for the toothpick swirling. And, room temp is important.
This is the best tutorial I've seen! Thanks for taking the time to make a video :-) I found that taping all the nails/fingers on one hand at the same time, saves time!
Faz a película e deixa secar na água tira ela com a pinça coloca na caixinha de leite e corta fica lindo do msm jeito e não precisa ficar fazendo toda hr
Ugh, o hate people who... Take forever to make all the rings and then only use one nail- #your #wasting #too #much #nail #polish Have thick nail polishes so it takes forevvvvver to drip when you could just touch the surface with the polish brush
If you see her nails in other vids they are double than what my nails are.Actually no TRIPLE.My friends have so short nails. They are half way mine and these nails are just NOT short.
Hello---I thoroughly enjoy your videos and love the way you explain each step! I've checked out some of the comments on your site, a lot of them are positive. The insulting ones just prove that people are proud of their ignorance, by the way they love to show it off! Your voice is calm and reassuring, which is needed when attempting to water marble. I've been marbling since Mar.'13 and having a blast with it! Keep up the fascinating work!!!
When i try to do marble nails, after i put the drops of colour in the water, the nail polish makes a drop underneath the surface of the water and whet i try to put the colours on my nail it's just a mess. What am i doing wrong? Is it the temperature of the water or the nail polish?
+NerdyKat i've watched a few of these water marbles nail how to's and its been mentioned a few times that some brands are better than others for this. might be the brand your using?
It works! From first I was getting tired because it was only getting hard inside the cup until I turned off my ear condition. The temperature really maters
Any time I've tried this, I get an air bubble underneath the polish, like between my nail & the polish 😞 What am I doing wrong? My nails aren't nearly as long as yours, is that why?
so much moaners! Geez guys this is a helpful tutorial! so stop complaining!! and just be bloody thankful if those are short for her then so be it because it's long for u doesn't mean it is for her so really stop complaining!
I do my own water marble and you do not have to let your nail set in the water like she did. you do not have to blow on the water and you do not have to use that much Polish
I love this type of nail style! I like how you do the swirls and I love how your hands are so perfect, I haven't looked through all your nail styles but I know they're just gonna be Amazing! You have really inspired me, I am gonna try this :)
I know the feeling does your polish just sink to the bottom or just not spread if so It most likely has to do with your polish try Sally Hanson ( not and old bottle( and see how that goes
This video is BS that cannot happen with regular nail polish. The first drop would spread and create an extremely thin film of nail polish on the water. The surface of that film would dry instantly. The second drop of nail polish would sit on that film like a blob it would never spread.
14mirjam I watched my g/f trying to do it the same as the video it wasn't working at all so I said here let me try, and the first drop spreads over the water and dries instantly creating a film on the surface, the second drop sits on that film like a blob and does not spread at all.
1SouthernDeathCult1 This happened to me too and my boyfriend wanted to try and the nail polish wouldn't spread into rings and would dry on the surface of the water quickly. Maybe make sure the water is filtered? Or you might need expensive nail polish. Not really sure. I just got frustrated and haven't tried it since.
You shouldn't shake the nail polish brush when putting it into the water. That sometimes will make the polish drop to the bottom if the container of water.
your video has helped me loads, thank you, i'm going to try this myself and if it turns out half as good as yours then it's going on my nail art board for college :) thanks x
People, is does work, I tried it over the weekend. Just make sure your water is not too cold. I had three attempts before i got the water temp just right, I added a little warm water, just to break the cold. As soon the nail polish dries to quickly and you are unable to draw the toothpick thru it without meesing it up, then you know you need to warm is but not HOT water. Its trial & error work.
