Water on Glass - KinoWeek #2 

Here is the second in my effort to produce one short film every week.
The video is of water on glass that has been treated with RainX so it beads in a more appealing manner. Single very soft light placed behind and above the black seamless paper backdrop. The macro functionality of the lens on the JVC HD110 couldn't get as close as I wanted... so I'm looking into methods to use microscope lenses instead.
Without the application of RainX to the glass the water does not bead in a pleasing manner... and the beads are not as tall. Some people use mineral spirits but I think water works fin and is safer on surrounding surfaces.
Music was done hurriedly in ZynAddSubFX and Hydrogen... tracked in Ardour.
