Can I split off at water mains to toilet connection (just before it connects to toilet cistern) with a T valve then go up to create a separate cistern for douche spray a few metres above toilet cistern or does it have to be an earlier split?
You've made me walk to my kitchen sink and check something. The correctly installed kitchen tap pull-down nozzle does not go below the overflow line and it should retract the nozzle up automatically. It is virtually impossible to create the backflow in this scenario...
Good luck with explaining to the customer, that his arse sprayer will cost £300..... Johny from the local pub will do it for £50. Even without the double check valve...
No - It wouldn’t work - its very basically a coupling with holes in and would need to be downstream of the douche valve ie on the hose to the spray but then regulations say DC interuppter needs to be minimum 150mm above spill over level of WC and and at same time when you switch on douche water will come out the DC interrupter.
