When he saw the reflection of himself from the pool, that’s when he realised he was not as fruity as his kids and it’s only then he made the deduction.

one thing i learned about ad-making is that if an ad is memorable enough to leave an imprint in your head, whether good or bad as long they are ridiculous it's pretty much a good ad
I'm a kid and understanded the joke. The joke is that the mother bottle cheated on the male bottle and the real father was the fruits, explaining why the kids is fruit flavored
