@@ncturtle6443 if a tree falls in a forest and no one’s there to hear it does it make a sound is a popular question I don’t see how this is a reference to dear even hansen
I had a girl in my chorus class drop her hydro flask all the time and you wouldn’t dare walk in knowing how many vsco girls there were making the sound skskssks or AnD I oOP-
Khe mma whole mood. Especially because today’s thanksgiving and I wanted to end my night with some terrible damage of falling water towers flooding everything 😕
they each remind me of my hopes of there being any Good-Old-Days or Good-Times or Fond-Memories; when I see people reminiscing about better-times and good-fortune I used to think there would be some for me: watch them fall.
I think the older steel/tin looking ones look more creepier. Like they serve as a landmark for someone getting murdered by it or a town that comes off as silent hill
WingedWillow its because of how big the structure is. If the same thing happened to a roller coaster, a ferris wheel, or a large building, it would be just as terrifying
Thanks for this Peter, I watched from beginning to end and it was fantastic, gonna go drive out to my hometown's water tower to see if it's still there!
0:16 "The Martians had no resistance to the bacteria in our atmosphere to which we have long since become immune. Once they had breathed our air, germs which no longer affect us began to kill them. The end came swiftly. All over the world, their machines began to stop and fall."
Let's be honest, we all thought water would come pouring out Edit: okay look i didn’t know there was another comment about the same thing. I didn’t intend to copy and I didn’t mean to, so y’all can stop
The orange one at 4.40 was the cutest. These water towers help create water pressure. I had thought they were for water reserves before I learned about the water pressure.
I watched these clips all the way through, and I enjoyed them. But I admit that part of the reason was to see some collateral damage. Unfortunately (for me), the demo folks knew what they were doing and it looked like every tower fell exactly where they were supposed to. Well, done, demo people! Well done.
@@rondouglas4296 we had a meat packing plant in our town for many years went out of business about 20 years ago set their dormant they had their own water tower they knocked it over one day I didn't even know it I lived close to it and the sound it made was horrific and it had rotten water in it and they said the rats scattered everywhere I smelled it it was horrible
The main reason why it didn't is likely because the actual water containers are REALLY thick and could probably survive small explosions with ease. I'm assuming this, though
