Sennelier is one of the top quality watercolor brands, regardless of how much you paid it's a good buy. If i may, i recommend getting a couple good brushes too. While waterbrushes are indeed very convenient, they limit a lot of your control over the paint, the amount of water you're using and amount of effects you can get.

Happy belated birthday, Peter. I'm getting old with you. A few weeks ago I tidied up a closet and found a fan art portrait I made of you for your 30th birthday. I remember that was the first time after some years of being a subscriber of your channel I knew your date of birth.

Hullo Peter, I am glad that you were willing to share your birthday with us, happy birthday wishes to you! I believe that I have had a similar conversation with myself when considering the options of starting my day, week or even a project for which I have been planning on and procrastinating over! If I can offer a small piece of advice? I have created so many different pieces of art on just any kind of surface and I have regretted using just any old scrap of paper. You might think a doodle is not important and 98% of the time you are right. I have a portrait of my little sister and I only had a piece of that brown pulpy sketch pad paper, it is acidic and has yellowed and faded. I wish I had just taken a few minutes to just go find a good piece of paper! I am enjoying watching your videos and I appreciate you and thank you for sharing so much of your art/life journey with us! Please stay safe, take care and enjoy this anniversary of your birth! Happy birthday, Peter 🎉 and it’s so nice to see you have some success with this new medium! I’m still trying to wrap my head around those brush pens. They constantly deliver water, and sometimes you don’t want your pigment diluted that much. I like the ink brush pens, though because it delivers a constant flow of ink and a predictable amount of pigment. If you don’t already, you can pick one up relatively inexpensively 😊 I’m sure you’ve seen those paint pen sets that each have a different color in them. But I thought it might be cool if you combined the ink brush with a finer point pen, and my first thought was that you might prefer a monochrome option. ❤

hey Peter Happy birthday man, the 19th was my birthday too, I sat and was alone for most of the day. I am ending the day with this video and had some things I needed to hear, man it was weird. I was supposed to go hike into where I spread my dads ashes a few years back, the plan fell apart and I'm feeling well, disappointed and frustrated but hey, I'm 24 now!! Lol
