W&N watercolours: Winsor Blue, Paynes Grey, Lamp Black, Quinancidrone Gold. Paper: Arches 300g cold pressed. Bottles: same colours but diluted with a lot of water. Music: Birds in my garden in Copenhagen.
My main objective is to find an artist who is seriously concentrating on their work while they are showing it to us. There’s no room for chatter in my lessons. Entering the right brain takes a special teacher. Thank you very much for the lack of chatter and a great lesson.
Thank you very much for writing your observation. I am myself tired of so much chatter. And I wouldn't be able to chat because I am too concentrated. And in fact I think that concentration is a must if you wish to create something good.
@@lenagemze662 hi Lenagemze. It’s a pleasure meeting you and hearing your thoughts on this matter. You obviously understand the importance of getting into that zone. Keep creating.
I saw youre watercollours on RU-vid and i feel i must pick up to do water collours again. 40 years ago i start whit it,and afther 9 years i start whit acrylic. Since i saw youre work last year i put it on the side till 4 weeks ago and i paint allready 6 paintings. The technick wet in wet i did it allready in 1997 and make 2 big painings with it and looke everyday to them i like them a lot. Many times i want to paint again on this style. I was try it out from myself and nobody learn me how to do it and create 2 beautifull landscapes in that time. Whit youre work you touch my heart so i must puck up it again. I learn from you how you spray water from the side on the paint, thanks for that. Im really looking forwards that more videos will come here. Thank you Lena, you put me back on the path from 40 years ago....and i like it.❤
Thank you for posting this video; it is well worth the wait. I greatly admire your style of painting and appreciate that you show and list the materials and colors being used.
Welcome back - and what a wonderful video. The technique is so uniquely yours and the finished piece is amazing. This is so peaceful and calming with the flow of paint and the singing of the birds. Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful. You are my favourite artist and I get so excited seeing a notification come up that another video has been posted. Thank you for sharing your work!
Love that you are back posting another of your amazing videos! Your work inspires me so. Beautiful! The birds, the energy and the videographer, all capture your love of creating. Thank you!
I was so happy to get the notification that you had a new video…your work is a beautiful expression and the combined birdsong is lovey to hear….having morning coffee in Ontario Canada….I can almost feel being there with you….thank you Lena👏🏻🫶🏻❤️
So happy to see you back on YT 😊!! Love your work so much and relaxing videos, watching them over and over I am looking forward to see more ❤Please carry on enchanting the world ❤
O so excited to have a video again by you Lena. I immediately jumped to it. Beautiful as usual. Thank you. I have been working with acrylics the last few years but you make me want to get back to watercolours. The only thing that puts me off is the high cost to frame them. Thanks Lena so much.
Thank you very much Jen. The watercolour paintings get more expensive after framing. And if you want reflexions to disappear it is very costly. BUT personally I think there is no painting media as beautiful and fascinating as watercolours. But if you sell them, couldn't you make the customers frame them?
Oh, I love to watch this wonderful process - the genesis of a little piece true art-work ... I love your brilliant skills - imagination, creatvity, minimalism, color-combination, experienced handwork ... outstanding & unique! ... CONGRATULATIONS and CHEERS from Austria!🍾🥂🌠
So glad to see you back. I have watched your older videos numerous times, your style is beautiful and you create in such a peaceful calm manner. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you to you as well. The proportions are up to you. Sometimes I like to have a stronger colour, and then I put more. Usually I use about 1cm from a 37ml W&N and from a 24ml Lucas. But if you use smaller tubes, you have to put some more centimetres.
Oh wow!!! I have just found you and watched this video. I love how you are so loose and unafraid to just add colour, not knowing what result you will get. The colours are really beautiful. I must go and watch your other video’s now. You have really inspired me. Thankyou so much.
Lena, thank you so much for sharing your art with us again! This beautiful painting was well worth the wait. I hope that all is well in your world, that you continue to be inspired and find joy in the little everyday parts of life (like listening to the birds in your garden), and that you continue experimenting and growing in your artistic endeavors. You truly inspire me, and I thank you for that.
Thank you Cheryl you write so very nice to me. Like the world around us is changing all the time, I am changing too, and I was on stand-by for about 1 year because of Corona - but know I started growing again and decided to post more often in the future. Thank you for watching my videos!
@@lenagemze662 Lena, you're most welcome. I fully understand being on standby due to Corona, and how life has been changing. I've been in a similar situation since December 2020. It's thrilling that you have started growing again, and I'm so very happy for you! I know that making and posting videos is a not-fun proposition, so please put your creativity first, and post videos only when you are up to it. So many of us admire your vision and creativity, and you deeply inspire us with the videos you've been able to share. Sending you happy, inspired thoughts, and may the changes in your life take you on a journey that excites and supports you.
Hi Lena - was blown away with your painting and techniques. Please could you tell me what the colours in the plastic bottles you use are a mix of watercolour paints you use to squirt on to the paper? Great paintings. more please
The bottles contain the same 4 colours as I use on the mastercard. I dissolve the paint in water and shake well. It's up to you how strong a colour you want.
Are you prefixing watercolor and water in the plastic bottles. If so, how much water are you adding. I love this process and would love to give it a try
It is a mix of watercolour paint and water. It is up to you to find what is right for you. Just shake it well. I call these small bottles Magicbottles. Please try it and feel the magic!
So, so thrilled and grateful for this Lena. You have an amazing instinct for texture and tone. I love this painting and the technique. You look amazing too - love your necklace. Just great to see you ❤❤❤
I love your work, your videos AND your clothing. Such a beautiful and fun technique. I am inspired to try it. Where do you buy the wonderful dresses I see in all of your videos?
