Water colours: LUCAS: Sepia W&N:Paynes Grey Sound: Pasific Ocean from Playa Las Lisas in Guatemala, where I stayed a few months to paint. Still using my neighbors Mastercard in hope of making a masterpiece.
Hello Lena, thank you for bringing me a treat with my morning coffee. "Less is more" but a lot of skill and practise is requiered, for this lovely painting. Thanks again.....Alioban
This is fantastic Lena. You make it look so easy, but I know it won’t be very easy at all. I’m new to water colour, (and any painting) and I love your style, so must give it a try.
Love the outcome. At the beginning I thought you were angry throwing things. I agree the sound was very loud like a rainstorm or static. Not sure what that was. Look forward to checking out your other work
Thank you for writing your observations. When I hear The Pacific Ocean on the video, I can hear that it sounds like noice. But I was dreaming myself back to the coast of Guatemala where I recorded the sound many years ago.
Thanks Lena sharing your moments with water, pigments, project and movments ! Very inspiring for dreaming ! Isn't the purpose of art !? Try to be kind with your masking tape.. or not !
Thank you for your response. Yes I think that dreaming also is the purpose of art. You can dream and get inspired and get moved to somewhere else. My masking tape loves to run around on my flor!
Thank you Sharon. I know that the sound is very bad. When I heard it I thought I was lying on the beach of the Pacific Ocean, where I have recorded it. But I am the only one thinking so.
Thank you for telling me. I was dreaming myself back to the shore of Guatemala (where I recorded the sound) in the sundown when they sent all the small turtles out into the Pacific Ocean. But sure I can hear it as noise as well!
