Watermelon it’s always a pleasure to Hear you make music whether in this performance or when we would sit with a Doobie on the back porch with my dad and you just break out in song it’s always been a pleasure keep it up
Hey. We talked to you before the show last Friday in Clarksdale. Couple from Oregon. Just wanted to tell you we enjoyed the show. Left at 9. Had to get back to Oxford. We caught a flight the next morning. Anyway good job. Your rhythm section was right there, held it down. Until next time God bless
Real deal right there. The voice , the story, the technique and a fine band back there. When a Stix man holds onto his cigarette like that you know it's all gonna be right in the pocket.
These are Bluesmen of a different caliber, they've had hart times but know how to handle them. Great work and the 13/16 socket works like magic. I'm totally impress, actually blown away.
Poor bastard! Went too young. He doesn't look that old (well the vid is 7 years old I suppose). I checked out his obituary was born in 1959. Yeah too young.
Looks like a 13/16s socket he has for his slide, perfect size!! LoL,, I got to jam with Watermelon once @ Reds in Clarksdale Ms. The Crossroads. It was quite an experience I must say.
hot damn Tijuana! they just don't grow REAL bluesmen like this anymore.....who said no one from Oklahoma could jam the blues ? check out the drummer....he blues cool
