This is one of the few videos that I give huge props to Michelle. She seriously put so much work into a 6-minute video so that us ladies could find the right products to still look dazzling during the humid weather and beach days. Thank you, Michelle!!!
It's so obvious that she really takes care of her skin! It looks so soft and she has like, no bruises or scratches. She must use moisturizer and products like that. Michelle would look way more gorgeous with just concealer and powder. ❤️ Natural makeup would look best on her, she doesn't need it all. xx
as someone with a big nose I never understood why people want taller noses. always wanted mine smaller and almost disappear in photos. maybe I'm just too insecure. I just really love small/flat noses

Vika Monagan Don't hate it, it's a part of you and your story. :) I have a small nose and someone starred at me one day from the side.. I was like "Are you okay ?" and he said "How can you even breath through this nose ? It's tiny af and I can't imagine that air can enter your lungs with that tiny thing." which was kinda hurtful, but when I met my boyfriend (we are 3 and a half year together now ), he loved my small nose. Maybe not anyone will like your special features, but you don't have to care about it, because someone will love it and you should love yourself and your nose. :)

I have no girlfriend or sister. If i did try to attempt to draw on a persons face with all those 9000 items for the nose and eyes, that she, is no longer a she. It's an It. Its a terrible monster with 4 tentacles and a colorful face.
There is nothing wrong AT ALL with watching makeup tutorials being a guy. Makeup is not gender based and never will be. If you like watching them, then good for you.
I dont know about any of you guys but when I come out of the water I have to rub the water out of my eyes and it smudges but if I dont my eyes get really irritated:( does any one else have this problem?
try focusing the makeup away from the center of the lid (like michelle's look in the video) then when you need to rub your eyes just press that area very gently until the water is out of your eyes. It works for me :)
Well I was excited... Till I found out that the eyeliner is freaking $43.00... Michelle can you make a cheaper video for products because as a girl who only makes minimum wage, this was hopeless
NO one says that you have to use the products that she is using! Just use whatever you have in your makeupbag that is close to the product - like the eyeliner.
the urban decay ones are $20 each at sephora. it's a lot, but they're so worth it. super creamy and they stay on FOREVER! and because they're creamy, they're easy to apply.

This summer I want to overcome my fear of water and swim with my eyes open in a pool (well, with goggles because I wear contacts). I love mermaids and pretend to be one when I am swimming. When I saw you doing this in the video, I thought, Is she allowed to do that? I was told you'll burn your eyes out if you do! I never thought people could swim under water because I only see people swimming laps or standing up in the pool.
Its not bad if you don't do it everyday, but you can totally open your eyes and all that would happen is that they will turn red. Try not to rub your eyes if you're wearing makeup. But also remember, you can't actually see underwater if your eyes are open unless you wear a good pair of goggles!
You should NOT open your eyes in the pool. It contains chlorine so I don't think I want that in your eyes. Also DONT where your contacts in the pool goggles or no goggles. Pool water also contains bacteria so if u accidentally get even a little bit of water in your eyes U can get an infection, because the bacteria grows under your contacts. This my cause an eye infection. Hope that helps :)

***** Kdc You CAN open your eyes underwater even if it's chlorine. I've done it before and it doesn't sting, it's just very blurry. As long as you don't do it too often or too long then you won't irritate your eyes.
To be honest, I don't think you need to wear makeup to look pretty. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. It's okay to wear makeup once in a while for special occasions, but I'd prefer not to wear it everyday. This is my opinion, so don't even try to fight with me for talking about my own opinion.

I think it's amazing that she's so young and she makes makeup videos, has her own makeup brand AND works at Ispy, and went from being poor to a millionaire and she inspires a LOT of people...so why don't you think before you make a comment like that and don't judge people unless you actually know them?

Of course she isn't. The purpose of her channel when she made it was just for fun. Then, it moved on to helping show others how to apply makeup, and surprise, it still is.
Eh, to each their own. I personally like her channel better than other "beauty gurus" nowadays because almost all of them cake their face so much. Michelle focuses on natural looks and enhancing inner beauty.

as for a particular age to start wearing makeup in general, if you're like 10 or 11 or something and you have a school awards party of a wedding or something, go all out. the earliest i would recommend wearing makeup on a daily basis is 17. at 17 most girls have outgrown the nastiest stages of puberty, so the worst of your acne bouts and oily skin and all that nonsense. if you start wearing makeup too often before that, chances are you'll get a lot of clogged pores, many of which you will not have the discipline not to pick at. save yourself the acne scarring and don't start playing with this junk until prom night :)
Im turning 15 tomorrow 🎂 and I barely ever wear makeup, just on special occasions. I have a pretty good skin. But I think its great to wear makeup when your in 7th grade. Not a full face of makeup, just to cover up something or enhance your beauty! 💄💋
i can understand if you are in 5th to 8th grade, there were definitely kids doing this when i was that age, to wear a little bit of makeup so i would suggest a light coverage/bb cream foundation if you really have like some redness or uneven tone to cover up but nothing more than that for such a young face. And really if you don't have anything that is all over your face like redness then all you need is concealer IF you have a blemish, no need to brighten under eyes or anything. I also remember when i was going into high school i heard a quick five minute face was mascara, blush and gloss/a lightly tinted balm or lipstick. for someone under 16 you really don't need anything but those things can do enough to make any girl feel a bit more glamourous.
I am going to the rain forests of central America and staying in a bungalow with my boyfriend on the Caribbean coast. It will be wet and humid certainly. But I still want to look my best for him :) I will be trying some of these before we leave. Thanks for the links and the video!
