Located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest is Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. We got greeted with some fresh snow on the day of our visit, which explains why it’s known as a winter wonderland. In the sixth episode of Mountain Recon, Eddie Wall meets up with locals Brendan Hart, Ely Campeanu, Jackson Saia, and Jamie Mills to get a tour of some of the locals’ favorite runs and learn a little about what makes the place so special, followed by checking out the sights and food at the Village at Waterville Valley.

My dad skied Waterville Valley and I am somewhat jealous. I did not join him, because I would have to have shared a hotel bathroom and sadly, the conditions were not supposed to be superb on the day he went. I made it to Cranmore, Sunday River, and a few other places in New York and Massachusetts this past winter.
