My standbys are Valhalla Supermassive (when I'm working on ambient pieces) and Valhalla Delay. I also will just throw on the stock reverb plugin included with Pro Tools, typically on vocals. To be honest I don't use a ton of external effects on soft synths just because many of them already include effects. :)

@@mwmusic29 I also tend to use fx if built into a synth. How do you envisage using the Waves?

@@IanWaugh Largely I think I'll be using it for ambient tracks from my analog synths like the Polysix and prologue. The prologue has built in effects but I like to build a patch without the internal effects and run it through something else, so Space Rider will give me another option. The Polysix should almost never be used dry! Haha! Also, I just applied one of the vocal presets from Space Rider to a vocal track last night on a new song I'm working on and I was very happy with the result. So I think it will be a usable plugin in a few different applications. :)
