Li Ning has quickly become the most reliable shoe brand when it comes to performance. I'm a size 15 so I'm dependent on brands being consistently good performers because I can't go to a store to try out the feel. Used to be a Nike guy but the WoW line has knocked them off the pedestal.
Not surprising since Li-Ning is a legitimate brand with an actual R&D department. Think of them like China's Nike or China's Asics, they've really come a long way.
Some of my favorite performance shoes of the last 2 years have come from Way of Wade or other Chinese brands. The performance sneaker game is getting extremely competitive and I’m here for it 🙌🏻
They used to have a store in Portland very briefly when they were brand new, but couldn't keep up so shut things down. They definitely could if they tried in the US again.
Got these for 149 SGD here in Singapore. Played in them 3 times on an outdoor basketball court. Believe me, these are legit! It does cater to quick / lighter players or players that are mostly light on their feet. The cushion is just right enough to provide a good court feel and impact protection from jumping. 👍 P.S. I had to go up half a size for the fit as well. The materials are not on the soft side but they will hug your foot properly for good support 👍
Im on my second lining and third chinese brand bball pair in 6 months. When they go on sale the value is soooo crazy good i couldnt help but order. They last pretty darn long too! My anta gh3’s now have 40 hours mixed drills and playtime and thenoutsole is still at 50% and the cushion is still bouncy and responsive❤️
agree with The Flash or Reverse flash colorways.. a nice tribute to Flash comics.. and another thing i also agree with your opinions on how many shoe manufacturer didnt prioritize outdoor basketball shoes. so, kudos to Li-Ning and Wade for this.. not everyone is always playing indoor basketball.
I may get these next. I gave up on Nike, UA and Addidas. All I play on is outdoor and their shoes soles last me maybe 2 months. The Chinese brands soles are way more durable are made of better materials for less money.
I think the classic flash colorway will drop later on to rebuild hype for a second wave. Or maybe in the next 2.0 drop. Plus when I think of "The Flash" I only think of Grant, Ezra doesn't even come to mind.
Got a pair on the way from famuji, with a wear testers discount (thanks Chris!) about 115 US with delivery to UK! Will let you guys know how they perform on my crusty outdoor public court!
Have two pairs of Li Ning shoes. Way of Wade All City 10s and got gifted the Way of Wade 10 Low "Valentine's Day" for Valentine's Day and they are absolutely amazing. I play volleyball in them and they are so comfortable and the support is the best I've ever had. Love their colorways as well!
Did you end up buying them? If so did you go TTS or up a .5 size. I'm usually 10.5 and I've 6'3 240 pounds wondering to cop these in black as well and maybe if I really like the white ones as well
Why would they want to make outdoor shoes that are more durable? If you don’t make any at all, customers will use indoor shoes for playing outdoors and cause faster wear and tear. Thus, you buying another shoe. Thank you LiNing for giving customers what they WANT!
I've seen posts where some pairs (specifically the black one) already had some sole seps and upper tears after just a few games. Anybody else who had the same issue?
Macht so weiter 👍🙌
Hi Chris, thank you so much for the informative and educational performance review. So much appreciated 👍 Also, hope you can review the Li-ning wade 808 V2 with Bruce Lee color way. I think it's excited & great for the viewer's.
Mine came in today! Feel nice on foot, I have skinny feet and followed linings sizing recommendation to go up half a size, but still could have gone tts. Half size up still feels good though
Google translate is awesome! You can point your camera right at stuff and it'll translate it immediately. I went to europe and would point it at food menus haha
