I’m British, and this song really moves me. I really wish we had that essence of individual liberty and pride that some of the Americans have. What a brilliant song that amplified this. I love England, but songs like this do make me reconsider my nesting ground. God bless the USA and the UK

Are you kidding? I went to a Waylon Jennings tribute in Denver, they loved the music but they hated the south and Southerners. The blue state people hate the red state people and the feeling is starting to become mutual. Waylon lived in a simpler time and would not be for what is going on now.
