I want to give a shout out to Mr. Rowe for the great questions and for allowing Wayne Bergeron to speak about his experiences about his trumpet life! I really think it’s disrespectful to interrupt the interviewee with the interviewers 2 cents!!! No one wants to hear you, we are here to listen to Wayne!!!! Thank you Mr. Rowe for being respectful!! I have been following all of the Wayne Bergeron interviews and this is the most entertaining interview!

I'd love to have the opportunity to meet Wayne. Such a modest personality which makes his world class playing that much better. I myself was a professional trumpet player when I was a younger man, and I always looked up to Wayne through his videos on RU-vid.

These interviews are just incredible. These musicians whom I've idolized are also great human beings. I just picked 3 interviews, Wayne's, Erskine, & Peplowski & it was like listening to prophets. Their insights & comments on human nature had me mesmerized. Thanks Monk for such great questions & giving them space to answer.

God Bless you Wayne. I too am a cancer survivor of prostate cancer. Fortunately I was able to avoid the chemo as the radiation did the trick. Or at least I HOPE so. I do a lot of live gigs in 7 different bands all small horn sections as on my level there's really no money in "big band", but it'd be neat to be in a trumpet section with you someday.

Between sets our lead trumpet player would try to pickup girls at the bar. "Ohhhh, are you the one who plays the high notes?" I'd chime in and say, "If it wasn't for me playing low notes on the trombone, how would you know he played high?" "Uh.... I don't ... you're right." Lead trumpet players are attracted to stupid chicks.
