It is VERY seldom that I see someone who is very successful in one shooting sport put a serious effort into learning another. I admire you doing that, and sharing your learning process. I hope we hear more from you as you switch to your own rifle and go completely on your own. You are a highly motivated quick study. By sharing your learning process all serious shooters will benefit. Thanks for that, and \thanks to Wayne for all of the specific details. These interviews are pure gold, sports journalism of the very highest order.

@BelieveTheTarget you have come a long way on your interviewing skills...but just like anything else you can always get better. Why not have some thicker skin and take the feedback? Ask your viewers if they (during an interview) want more guest or more EC?

Let me say this. It's going to sound cheesey but it's honest. Take care of yourself, so you're around for a while; because there are a lot of us who listen to you and hopefully some day you will write a book, so that the people our age and especially the younger ones will have that knowledge. I have 3 grandsons right now and hopefully more to come, and I would really like to give them that book one day. Thanks again Erik 🤙

I think you will get hooked as I believe it can only help with F Class . I know you love your 6 BR but the PPC will make magic if you get it tuned correctly. Looking forward to you doing more on this game . Thanks so much for all you share in our community. Someday I hope to meet you in person, almost made it to south west nationals but my truck broke down. Maybe next year L

When I first heard Tony Boyer's name it was through Shilen where Mr. Boyer referred to Shilen barrels as hummers. My understanding is that was back when Ed Shilen was still in charge of Shilen barrels. I've always wondered what Mr. Boyer's barrel choices were as time went on. Anyone know?

I really love these videos and even I find info that I can use and I only shoot 22LR, .22 pcp, and .30 pcp from a max of 70yd but most often 50yd. I’ve been trying lately to read the wind and can now see why I was shooting so erratically at times after having put up 3 wind flags. I know compared to what you guys do it’s rinkydink but I find it to be fun and challenging both. And, man those pellets move a lot in the wind. Thank you guys for what you do, it allows me to enjoy the sport vicariously through you. Much appreciation!!

@@BelieveTheTarget yeah, I saw them on his gun at the tack driver match. I'm just always looking for different perspectives. Have you changed your mind about not tuning seating depth anymore (just using the tuner) after hanging out with the BR guys? I saw some of your targets at the V2 finale. You shot some outstanding groups. I believe I saw at least three that were a half minute or under in those conditions.

Hey mr. C, been listening to your vids for a long time. They are great. I only recently started shooting longer ranges. Built a 7prc out of a an old 223 savage i had to grind out the mag well to fit the cartridge. I put on a prefit and i shoot .4 to .5 moa all the time at 500 and even 1000 when wind is calm. I know thats not good for your game but for me it blows me away considering i dont do all stuff the competitors do. Is this normal? Maybe a vid on normal guy gun/barrel/reloading expectations and reality.

Curious how much the bolt shroud would benefit accuracy? Would it be beneficial or worth it in a “long range” hunting rifle? I’m not a competition shooter, just a hunter trying to differentiate what the heaviest hitters are when chasing accuracy. If it will take my rifle from .75 moa rifle to a .5moa rifle, I’m all in
@thepracticalrifleman

Depends on if the one you have isn’t any good.
@BelieveTheTarget

Correct. No way of knowing how much it will help it because it depends on how bad the one you have is. It may very well be fine but don’t know until you check.

These interviews are incredibly informative. I really enjoyed this one! I learned an awful lot and that’s not bad for a 73 year old guy! You two took me back to a Mdl. 700 .223 that was a tack driver. I pin wheeled several targets in competition at 100 yds. It makes wonder how good that gun could have been. Wish I still had it.
