I’m still curious about the mountains of the gadianton robbers, volcanoes like the one in 3 Nephi 8-11, gold and silver and other ores, narrow neck and river stuff that can’t be found in the Wayne May theory. I lived in meso-America during my mission, I thought I was going to lamanite land, but I can’t say that anymore because of how the BoM described things. I still think the hopewell theory is the most likely.
@@dcarts5616 I don't think they were volcanoes per say rather it says they became mountains. We have several geological sites near were i live were this happened. One called hog's back that was pushed up from underearth activities that's ~6k feet tall in the San Juan mountains.
Wow Wayne. I am overwhelmed with excitement by what you have shared. When you do find artifacts like the stone carving of Jesus with the wound in his wrist--do you have a safe place to keep these things. Why aren't these things well known? Why does it seem that Wayne May is the only one trying to investigate North America. What kind of politics are people playing when they think that mesoamerica is where the Book of Mormon took place. Every time the heartland subject comes up people completely harden their hearts. Everything Joseph Smith ever said points to North America as the Nephite land.
I think it’s because there is no evidence in the Americas but the pyramids and “baptismal fonts” in Central America was so promising when they were first discovered. Physical evidence even after being disproven is easier to hold on to than no evidence at all.
This is true in lots of fields of academia where there are a lot of conflicts of interests between the researchers and the funding like nutrition science, economics, and aparently archaeology.

Absolutely phenomenal. Until this, the Burrows Cave had always been somewhat of a dubious idea, because of all the controversy. The place is real, and the artifacts deserve serious scrutiny and scientific study, not the offhand denial and spurning by the schoolmen.

Remember, all this and everything Mormon, the BOM and all that churche's scriptures,(excluding the Bible), are based on the testimony claims writings teachings and revelations of one man, and one man alone, Joseph Smith. Mormonism's Faith and trust in one man is foundational and breathtaking, and that man is not the Lord Jesus, as much as they deny it. In every sense of the word and in reality it is the church of Joseph Smith. This church,(officially a corporation) stands or falls on who Joseph Smith was, Biblical Christianity stands or falls on who Jesus Christ was/ is. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. It seems like you misunderstand our beliefs, which is okay, you can believe whatever you want, but it makes me sad you aren't willing to consider otherwise. Just know we believe in and teach about salvation through and only through Jesus Christ alone, Joseph was just a prophet. But, as I said, believe what you want, have a good day.

@@apu6216 Certainly. I love to tell the story of when I was in college in 1986 and the door bell rang. Two of the nicest LDS Elder Missionaries came into the humble house I was renting with two other military veterans and shared the Book of Mormon with me. I listened to everything they said and shared with them that I was a Christian of no denomination and had spent many years studying the Bible and serving God through Jesus Christ. They asked me to read the Book of Mormon "Prayerfully" and ask god whether it was true or not. They further stated that it was "the most correct book on earth." I had not heard anything about the Mormons before this encounter except for maybe that they (mormons) do not drink coffee and their poygamist past. It was very curious to me that they came to my door with a mission and desire for me to learn what they confessed to me as “the one true church." I did what they asked because, after all, this may have been a Holy appointment where God was telling me there is more than the Bible for you to study, live by, and share with others. I read the BoM all week, prayed, fasted, asked of the Lord whether it was true or not, and I was, in fact, moved to an illuminated answer by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Elders returned two weeks later and I asked them in. Their first question was did I read the BoM as we discussed. I told them I read the BoM "prayerfully" as instructed and received an answer from the Holy Spirit that this was NOT the word of God but rather a shabby concoction of 19th century mock-bible stories, written by a fraud or set of frauds. The huge amount of anachronistic issues was profound, along with the lack of Spiritual inspiration. I knew in my heart, and the Holy Spirit testified that this was NOT the Word of the God I serve. As I shared this with the Elders, they said this never happened before and that the BoM possesses certain qualities where you will be told it is true if you read it and feel a "warmth in your bosom.” They once again, insisted that the BoM was the most correct book ever to have come fourth. I felt only the Holy Spirit sounding a warning that this blasphemy of the Mormon religion was a cult where the practitioners are kept in toil and works as a way to keep them off balance and bleed them of time, talent and treasure. I saw through the false stories and lack of geographic locations and archeological evidences. It further gave me a burden that these nice young men, my age and my likened sense of humor, were captives in this web of Satanic deception. They were victims of a “feeling” they had and not of devine inspiration. After I retired from military service after 38 years, I decided to make my life's goal as a Christian, to expose LDS by the very historic documents written by LDS. I have read and nearly memorized the Pearl of Great Price, Doctrines and Covenants, and the History of the Church Volumes. The pereoticles published by LDS are also near and dear to me since they provide the sourses of the lies, deceptions and hoaxes perpetrated by LDS over the years they have existed. I love it when I’m accused of being Anti-Mormon when I show mormons their own history. It begins a good conversation. My church today is full of x-mormons with a testimony of their life under the deception of LDS. How about you, have you examined the evidence of the Bible compared to the evidence of the BoM? Have you asked of God to let the scales fall off your eyes? Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. MATTHEW 11:28-30. So my "credentials" are the discerning Holy Spirit of God and the love of Jesus Christ. When one knows of the dangers of a con man or child molester, they seek to keep people warned and away. Your convictions, they sound as strong as mine but on the flip side. So, one of us is right, one is wrong. I'm ok with you believing you're correct, if you are ok with me and other LDS believing what we believe.

I feel a danger with how the LDS faith lacks even the most basic of supporting facts; I wanted to believe, but the Spirit was clear. My desire to sound a warring is based on loving LDS people.
