I can only imagine playing KQ3 without having seen it before. I'd absolutely hate Manannan so much. Even though I'm just watching others' videos, his theme music still makes me flinch when it comes on. Poor Gwydion...

@nsssj It's probably something along the lines of "You can't stop singing and Manannan, able to piece things together or just plain annoyed by you, kills you soon after."
Some examples of the wrong spell section: Musical talent: Trying to be the next Llewdor Idol? Transportation: The way you managed to cast that spell, will always be a mist-ery. Any other examples?
Understanding the language of creatures: "You're all ears now, Gwydion!" Flying like an eagle or fly: "It's safer to board one of those fancy airlines I guess." Turning one to a cat: "That was highly a-MEW-sing, Gwydion!" Casting a deep sleep: "You snooze, you LOSE!" Brewing a storm: "Warning! Weather control device detected!" Teleportation at random: "It appears that stone has a flaw." Enhancing musical talent: "There is nothing to sing about this one, Gwydion!" Becoming invisible: "Now you're half the man you used to be!"
I'll say this, it is even worse in the original version. Even though all it is is an organ playing briefly when he appears, it is loud, and of course unexpected
he doesn't- if he's asleep or on a journey, when it turns yellow, gets your ass back to the house and stash the stuff under the bed, except the wand you'll have put back in the safe.
There were things I liked about the IA version, but I hated the more literal interpretation of Manny's materialization sound. It's like an overdriven Tardis. It's not very dramatic. If I were Gweedy, I probably would have exclaimed, "Oh no! It's Bozo!", then I would have been vaporized for sure.
That's lame that they left out the special text for each game over with the spells in favor for "You shouldn't try making up your own spells!" That's just lazy. Also, I too don't understand the game ending by singing and big ears.
I killed myself so many times doing the spells wrong, I knew how to do it right, just you have to click in the right place, sometimes exactly- to NOT do it wrong
Who made this “remake”?? I want to find this and download it really badly now!! It’s like Zak McKracken unofficial sequel (which honestly is as legit a sequel as could have been made) What a fail though when you fall off the path...the perfect opportunity to have “TOO LATE!!”
There's a way not to run out of food for him, if you keep getting the porridge from the bear's house (it respawns). But, there are only three food items in the kitchen and you can't make more. Is there any death where you go out and talk to him and say "Master, there is no food"
No there isn't. He gets angry with you if you don't feed him and will punish you but unless you've broken his rules too many times (like the one you ask about in 2:32) he won't kill you.
Minor annoyances to the wizard include: Not doing a chore, not feeding him, being caught in his office/tower/bedroom without being told to clean it, and trying to leave the mountain when he's home. While he doesn't punish you for every one of them, his "anger meter" grows equally with each action.
