Exciting, authoritative news promos, warm and energetic and catchy station image promos. "Today's 4". One of the great TV station image campaigns. You don't see stations creating such elaborate promos anymore and as a big fan and collector of such promos and someone who is in the broadcasting business, it is sad to see. These promos gave you a sense that WBZ-4 was THE station to watch. Created by the same team that created the popular "We're 4 New York" for WNBC- TV 4 New York.

Since WBZ-TV will be celebrating its 60th birthday in 2008, I hope they bring back the "Today's 4" campaign as part of WBZ's 60th birthday!

WBZ-TV embarked on the road to decline when they cut local programming during the early 1990s. This sea change occurred during Group W ownership.

I have to agree. This was probably WBZ's best campaign ever.

WBZ 4 or CBS 4 has a radio station that have the same call letters and it is still here

I'd like to see some promos from KPIX-TV in San Francisco, which was also a Group W station like WBZ since I used to live in the Bay Area.

yeah, they're complete, except Bruce the weatherman who just retired. we'll all gonna miss him, though.

Today's 4 is a whole lot less. They just let Bob Lobel and Joyce Kulhawik go. The Station is not the same ever since CBS took over.
