[WCT USA] - Group D - Apex v APK Grey

Frank is such a good sport, absolutely love the energy coming from this man 3:21, like even after losing he's just hugging it out and having a good time 3:43.

I reckon Apex are playing their own independent game of "How many games can we win without having to bring Amos out?"

Me at chase 10: Well Ashley can't get close to him Me at chase 12: Well the rest of the team can't get close to him either

This man Jason, no hesitation what so ever, he just locks in on his target and within seconds they're tagged, what a beast, actually more like a cheetah 7:15.

So many stars in these two teams. The pace is clearly faster in a match between these two. Hope to see both of them advance through the Group stage.

Even though Apex had a pretty stark victory here, definitely can see these two as the titans of Group D. Beyond the skill though, was like watching two groups of best friends duking it out, taunts and laughs, tongue and cheek (literally and figuratively 1:47), definitely fun times all around.

I've been looking forward to this match since we saw both of them crush their respective opponents in their first matches. This one did *not* disappoint. Every chase was just so *fast* compared to the other teams we've seen. Seth vs Frank was, quite honestly, astonishing to watch. Both of them moved so fast that surely no lesser mortal would've stood a chance (although Jason certainly did later on). Seth is so slippery through bars that they may as well not be there in most cases! Rob, of course, was phenomenal. First, he stopped Mark dead in his tracks, then created the first lead of the match for Apex, and then *extended* it to a *three* point lead. I didn't think anyone would be capable of three evasions in this particular match because of how good the chasers were, but he certainly proved me wrong! He just has a really good understanding of when to bolt off and when to stay put to force your chaser to slow down. Unfortunately, I have to say that I think Ashlee looks like a weakness. She conceded APKG's only evasion in their previous match, and despite nobody else coming close to Rob, she was the furthest and had the most obvious mistakes. She just doesn't look comfortable on the quad and can't move with the pace that the rest of APKG is moving. Great match, I can't wait to see more from both these teams!

My favorite matchup in World Chase Tag to date! This was a monumental matchup! All the athletes who participate in World Chase Tag are incredible! I obviously have to shout-out Frank vs Seth 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ They're too good.

Apex are monsters... Knew only about Seth, but seeing Michael and Rob doing those evasions is really something

Damn, I've been watching this sport for a couple of years now, but this chase has to be the best I ever seen. The speed and agility on some of them was unreal.

That Kong at 1:11 is so clever. First he increases the distance to the chaser so Olof can't dive him and then he uses his position to make a much easier Kong over the Ridge. Great awareness and quick decision-making! :D

I was so excited to view this game and it defiantly did not disappoint! Pronominal effort by both teams and loved the OG’s rivalry chase 7! There were some spectacular chases in this one, and some interesting taunting in terms of chase 4 :) I am so excited to see these two teams compete again if they get to, I am also now dying to see apex vs APK blue! Apex are such a strong team and I reckon they have a great shot at winning this WCT!

Yeee I took a WCT Seminar yesterday at Apex Denver. Rob was there! He was the one who taught my group

With crazy good match ups like these, I feel like there sould be more rounds in another format. It feels so little, due to so much fuel they had to burn

The VIBES here, omg. Soo much enthusiasm, determination and most importantly just having fun with your opponents on the quad.

After watching Apex ETH’s recent match, it’s insane to see how improved Rob and Olof have gotten since this season. Olof came out with the heat! Went from being Michael and Seth as the top dogs to the whole team making a true name for each individual as just a force to be reckoned with.

This match felt like i watching extremely high end athletes playing a friendly match of pickup. their still playing to win so their not hodling back but their going to have fun doing it.

What a match! 🔥🔥 Crazy performance from Apex, it was neck to neck from the start but in the later stages Apex just outclassed them. Apex is gonna be a hell of a competitor further.

Seth's been insane when it comes to tags, but Im hoping he steps up the evading a bit. Also, Ethan was deceptively fast. He kinda looked like he was moving slow, but was somehow a few steps ahead.

This was very intense during the beginning of the match. I think is my 2nd favorite match so far. Still need to see something that can top antidote pk vs the unknown project. But awsome match.

I considered APK Grey to be one of the top 3 teams in the tournament, and Apex just blew them out with ease. Crazy.
