I would have loved if they had a game like that during the end of the WCW days. This just reminds me that this Vince McMahon left money on the table. When they bought WCW they could have tried to get one last game out, a WWF vs. WCW game which would have been near the end of the n64's life and in the PS2 days that could have been great. You could either choose a top guy from WWF or WCW and a top tag team from that same brand and put them in a long story line. The first part is that your single star has to win the World title in their brand and at least one other mid-tier title, then your tag team has to win their company's Tag team titles. Perhaps another midcard belt if for example one of your tag team guys is a cruiserweight and can take the cruiserweight title or the light heavyweight title. Then they go to war with the other company with the eventual goal of your top guy consolidating the WWF and WCW worlds championships and the tag team consolidating the WWF and WCW tag team championships. Which it ultimately means your brand won the war. Kind of like The invasion storyline but the video game version will probably be better.

@@donaldroberson9522 making alliances, doing backstabs, playing mind games to get out of a situation, laughing at your friend raging… I’m glad I got to experience that. I love how easy it is to play with your friends now, but it will never be as fun when you’re all physically there having a blast.

This mod looks amazing. WCW World Tour was the first N64 game i got for christmas as a kid. Fond memories of that game and loved the other Aki wrestling titles made after that.

Nah that last WCW game that never came out was gonna be what they made Def Jam with it was a WCW game since they went out of business they gave it to Def Jam the very first Def Jam.

Dude, just wanted to say I LOVED your wrestling match with Simon Miller from What Culture! It was the dream match I didn't know I wanted haha. With all the unfamiliar (to me) RU-vidrs boxing each other, seeing 2 of MY favorites frickin wrestle was awesome. Simon is gargantuan lol, but I was really impressed how you handled yourself! Fantastic heel work and I call for a rematch, can't have it end like that now can we!?

I’ve dabbled in and out of this game. I love it. I need to get some kinks worked out for my copy, but I’ve also been going through and modifying the name bars to include a headshot of the wrestlers next to their names. I’ve only done 1/3 of the roster. But this is so much fun.

It won't work on retropie as there isn't a project64 emulator for Android that works with jabos plugin

Hook your pc up to your tv and use a USB n64 controller, that's pretty much the only way to do it.

Great to see No Mercy modded like this. No Mercy was basically an official mod/improvement to Revenge. In other words, it was a WCW game that was rebranded to WWF.

Fun fact the engine that runs the first def jam videogame was actually intended for that new WCW videogame. But they went under and got bought so that idea got the kibosh.

Wcw was made with that stuff before WEF tho. People be for getting that to it was WCW World Tour then it was WCW vs NWO Revenge then after them it was WWF making games on that engine.

Anyone have any fix for the emulator running slow and choppy? I have a 3090 in my pc but it doesn't run well. I updated the project64 to 2.3 or something hoping that would solve it but it doesn't. When running no mercy without the mod it runs fine and stable at 60. Any help is appreciated

Good wrestling games died post PS3 - hopefully the new AEW game next year brings the best of the old school smackdown vs raw / no mercy/ here comes the pain Etc fun gameplay with new gen graphics , wrestlefest is also an all time classic which is still loved today, all the WWE 2k games are just like the wwe product for nearly two decades completely trash

Some of the greatest wrestling games were the years of N64 and they made wrestling games on a different level even non wrestling fans owned and played WCW first game and then the sold out and then wrestlemania 2000 were awesome games

The thing is, when Revenge came out, there had never been a wrestling game that fun and with great graphics on a home console. So if you think about that, then you can argue that Revenge was more exciting at the time than when No Mercy came out!
