We’re Headed the Right Way! Summer Nationals Racing at Tri-City Speedway

Us Illinois boys race these tracks every weekend. Y'all used to the bigger tracks. Good showing. But side bite and forward bite. With the right gear. That's how we roll. I appreciate y'all coming up. I watch every video. Y'all just not used to how we race. Tri City is more y'all style. Bigger track bot a Bullring like Peoria or Fairbary

It’s been fun watching you guys race those dark “gumbo” tracks outside of the South. Some plowed up like country garden and made for some bumpy and difficult racing. I have to brag (as a Magnolia local) that Johnny Stokes prepped an absolute masterpiece racing surface this past weekend at The Mag. It was smooth with multiple lines. So fun to watch! I hope a national event can come back because it’s an awesome facility.

JoJo you ran a great race and you kept the car in one piece almost 😂. You can't seem to keep from dinging the droop on the right rear no matter what track y'all are racing. So proud of HTF and how far y'all have come in a short amount of time. Good to see HTF at Tri-City. I’ve been to many races at this track and watched some of the best late models racers through the years.

My only lap on the old 1/2 mile at Granite City was packing the track in a WoO non winged sprint car in '79....got the green light and got passed by 20 cars in the backstretch!!!!😮😮😮

How long has it been since you calibrated your spring smasher and and I wonder if your tire gauge is correct when you start slowing down and can't get most of the time it's something simple I went 5 races one time couldn't get our car nowhere it was tire pressure my gauge was wrong check everything y'all use to set that car up

You have the ability to race at the top levels. The nice/clean drivers are appreciated by the more aggressive ones. You have to take the position and push your way through. Just like they do to you.

When you're in a position to capitalize and the opportunity presents itself you have to take it but it was a good job from you all

All I have been seeing is bottom feeding, bottom is the shortest way around but top is where you can lay the power down. Try moving up if you keep running the bottom your bound to get pinned there and you will never be able to pass. I support you guys and what you're doing but something isn't working most teams are running the high side and the bottom only when they have no other choice.

When will these guys learn? You set up the car it was great. Go to the heat race finish 3rd and knew the top was fast. So what do you do you change a gear and get blown away on the top side .

I'm glad I didn't go. I would have been POd if I paid to see a follow the leader feature. I quit going to races a few years ago when they stopped doing track prep before the features.

Everyone always wondered how jj would compare to the pros if he had the same equipment and budget? well it's safe to say it's been a couple years and they're going backwards now. I've seen this happen before in life not just with racing. whether it's their ego, mindset, just being dumb about their decision-making on how they can best spend their money to finish better I can't answer that. Budget out of the equation they have the budget so my guess would be probably ego and wanting to do it all themselves. And I'm gonna go ahead and say f*** you to the fan boys it's gonna say I'm a hater y'all just pussies that don't want to speak the truth y'all wish Joseph was doing better as well. It's not always hating it's just being critical speaking our minds holding yourself accountable unlike they are it's that type of mindset that makes you be the best you can be at whatever you're doing in life not settling for second place. If HTF team and Joseph believes in his driving and they had the same equipment the only thing missing out of the equation is a professional crew chief that understands the engineering and set up of these chassis, shocks, tire prep, changing of track conditions sheet metal manipulation for Arrow etc etc. Joseph has been running late models for 10+ years if he doesn't understand these chassis by now it's never going to happen without professional guidance plus things evolve so quick once they start to figure it out things are just going to evolve and they're always going to be one step behind. At this point I continued watching just to see how long it's going to be before they make a change and to read the comments. And remember Fanboys it's not hating it's just being critical and speaking the truth do you believe in JJ as a good driver then what's your excuse for him not only not winning but getting worse? Let me know cause my guess would be they're lost when it comes to setting up these chassis and if they start winning with the crew chief then maybe they're worried people are going to say they couldn't do it without one. I don't know but at this point other than their successful business Adventures they're just average
