The sad part is that in-line skating is far healthier and more exciting both in real life and in a video game. Too bad we don’t have a good video game for it because little androgenic boys who can barely scratch a sneaker to kick flip think they’re cool to push wood. Shame on all of you. Thanks.
Give us good brand deals like the old days. Real clothing and skate brands, great soundtrack with hip hop, punk, rock and reggae. A nice big detailed map and as much customisation as possible.

@@KayneMakesVideos I honestly think it comes down to suits, it dosent matter if it's good as long as it makes money, and I don't think CD projekt is like that but some shareholders might be and were getting pressured to deliver so they could get ther paycheck back, since they inject money long term until the game is done and sold. If they have too many shareholders screaming they are forced to ship the game as is and let the hype do the sales, CD probably could not have warned players the game wasn't finished because that would drop sales. I hope skate is good but I really have a bad timing beliving in it, it's ea, they didn't show us anything, sure some people in mocap suit and a maya file of a rail, thats it, too little, it makes me think they have nothing but mocap data that in its own is not useful in this type of game, they need to code the animation to flow into others and from others in a way its not in the way of the player. Idk having ea logo on it I expect hell.
Of course they will with microtransactions, always online, buggy gameplay for first year, and shut servers down before bugs are fixed. It'll be a great laugh.

With rumours of this being a “Games As A Service” type game I’m sceptical. Remember people , this is EA and the ONLY reason they let this happen is because Session and SkaterXL proved there’s demand.
Yeah that announcement came right before XL was released wasnt it? such a dirty move to take sales away from indy companies. Man I would be so stoked for this 4 years ago but now I just dont see how they are going to compare but I guess alot of people play it for the story mode and stuff instead of the skating mechanics

Would be sick if they had a feature where you can take trips with the brands you’re signed to around different cities in the world and could skate comps to earn recognition/money to travel and then drop video parts to earn connections/experience and buy more gear/earn more sponsors.
That happened in Tony Hawks underground, i remember you could get sponsor and travel across the world doing demos and skating in comps. one of the best skating games. Agree with you!
@@josebiux yeah i remember that, was one of my favorite skating game storylines for sure, i played it over and over as a kid signing to different brands (even though the story was basically the same was still cool)
That one guy said it reminds him of skate 2!! man that’s good news. That was probably the best game in the series if they build upon that I think we’ll have the new best skate game in the franchise.

I just bought a copy of skate 3 and have been playing it to relive my childhood and man was this game packed with a bunch of stuff that I almost forgot about!
God I can’t wait for this! Skate has been one of my favourite game franchise since I played skate 1 in 2008. I really hope they bring a lot of new stuff to this one. Huge variety of boards, clothes that look realistic on the character, great park building, even better gameplay than 2, and a truly open fleshed out real feeling world would make this my favourite game since 2!

The only reason the skate 3 editor sucked so much was because of the hardware the game was on. Custom parks dropped you to 30 fps. With the new consoles and pc support I have 0 doubt we'll be getting a sick park creator
@@combustiblelemon801 I never had any issues with FPS drops on PS3, and i made hundreds of parks using the merge glitch with max capacity, my only complaint is tht all the terrain blocks are square or some kind of square, hints why they found the merge glitch so we could make more real world parks, they never patched it either because it made the building better.
For the soundtrack I hope there will be 2 different soundtrack playlists one will be Punk Rock, Rock, and the other will be like Hip Hop and Pop. Or I hope it will be like different stations for different music genres :)
As I’ve got a PS5 I really hope they make use of the Dual Sense. Would be dope to feel the difference of the wheels when travelling on different surfaces or the feel of the board grinding on a rail and feel the impact when you hit something and fall off the board

Considering how close Microsoft & EA are it's highly likely that it'll come to PC, issue is if it will be through game pass/microsoft store or if it'll come to steam and other stores, since modding is harder when they're on microsofts store/xbox game pass app.
@@GVilleAnarcho I don't think that'll be the case. EA has been loosening its grip a little with their games, especially if micro-transactions aren't a focus. It seems they realized that people really don't like using Origin. Microsoft has been mostly solid about this as well, and doesn't seem to have much of a problem with their games being on Steam. Sure, both parties are likely to have some sort of integration with their specific platforms, but I don't expect a PC version to be absent from Steam.
I think we were being trolled with them saying it's still really early (as they then proceeded to show reactions of gameplay that blew people away, early development gameplay wouldn't have garnered this reaction imo).
There was nothing like playing skate on a Saturday morning and hearing the homies rolling by your house and joining them. Then after the long day of skating and hanging out to sit with your best friend and try to recreate what we tried to do irl in the game. Fuck man I cant wait
I think it would be cool if we got some board selling mechanics, like maybe you could spend boards to advertise your brand more, therefore gaining more board sales in future missions.
@@erivanestepan4482 from what I know about Skate session is far from a skate knock off, though. Just because it's a game about skateboarding doesn't mean it's a knock off of another skateboarding game. Depending on what you want to get out of a SB game you might enjoy session's attempt at a realistic simulation type of game. Don't know about Skater XL as I've never played it.

Please have some in-depth board customization!! Shaped boards, different sized trucks, wheel sizes, risers, rails, bearings and grip options to name a couple things off the top
They just need to allow game modding and the community will take care of the rest, look at all the Skate 3 clothing/board glitches that were found on consoles without modding.
