I am deeply disappointed the Captain wasn't wearing the same uniform as the others in the Choreograph at the end smh

I never thought my favourite Japanese girl group and the Captain would ever do a collab. 1000s of years of wisdom could never help me foresee this collab.

My takeaway from this is 1: "It's simple redstone, really." 2: Captain Disillusion is criminally underpaid for how much he overworks himself

If I had children this is the one channel I’d want them to watch. Amazing work man, loved the breakdowns of each music video!

It's still so crazy to think the Captain discovered the Leaders before most of Japan did. They only became household names in Japan half a year after this video.

What I can really appreciate is that Captain went through the painstaking process of creating 3D heads of Mizyu and Kanon instead of just going the Holly route.

I literally just found out about Atarashii Gakko! Just a few minutes ago. I really enjoy their dance practice for CANDY. It gave me some massive childhood nostalgia vibes of playing the first two Bust-A-Groove games. Then I suddenly see a recommended video of them with Captain Disillusion. This is like the jacked version of learning a new word and then suddenly hearing it everywhere.

Seriously, you couldn't have done a better collab with anyone else. Atarashii Gakko is so full of energy and spontaneity. A perfect fit for the creativity involved in VFX.

Incredible. I almost get a headache just trying to figure out how many layers of production I'm even watching. You made 3 music videos in different styles, but then you also filmed the filming of the music videos and then used more visual effects to explain the visual effects, and put that all in the same video... this must've taken forever.

Making the Captain dance with them in the end was both heartwarming and so hilarious to see. The amount of work gone into this by the group and CD, interns and help from Discord is mind boggling to the extreme. Saying well done doesn’t feel like it gives enough gravitas to how I’m feeling in this moment, but it still needs to be said: Well. Done.

This is easily the best "making of" video that's ever been made. It's a really great format for Captain D to show off his high technical skills but also his very enjoyable presentation skills. Also the band is very charismatic and it looks like they are having a lot of fun with the big D. I hadn't heard of Atarashii Gakko before, they are a solid pop group.

This is just absurd. I was introduced to Capt. D. years back, when Jacksfilms highlighted one of his videos by giving it a "most work put into a single video" award. But this video has more work put into it than probably any other 10 Capt. D. videos COMBINED. And it's all incredibly stellar work, to boot! Nothing is slapdash, everything is polished to the Nth degree. I'm too speechless to even figure out how to cap off this comment satisfactorily.

CD's technical competency is just incredible. It's amazing how easy he makes this stuff look. And Atarashii Gakko are clearly such dedicated and passionate performers. Not the kind of music I'm familiar with but I can appreciate talent and passion when I see it. Amazing video!

I've discovered Atarashii Gakoo for about ... a couple of years now? and they are one of the most unique J-pop group out there I don't think anyone could've reasonably guessed that this collab is going to happen. Hearing Captain D referencing famous J-pop acts like Perfume or Pamyu and anime song like Easy Breezy is definitely quite a trip and a half

I see why we had to wait so long, this was a hell of a lot of work… especially with those ‘you’re always learning’ type moments. Apart from this video going gang-busters I hope the dual purpose of raising the girls profile in the west also happens. They seem like a great group with delightfully appropriate school girl outfits that I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable watching in a music video with my nieces.

I wish I would have found this channel much earlier than I did. However, I'm glad I did; especially with this collab with the Atarashii Gakko crew. They are very unique, and their choreographies always seem to make my son and I crack up whenever we've gotten a chance to watch some of their performances or videos.
