Love how it seems like Kenny isn’t just reading the comments but actually considering some of the input. Really gives this series a feeling of community, love to see it.
For your lineup I have some suggestions: 1- best on base guy (speed is a bonus) 2- best overall hitter 3- 2nd best overall hitter, preferably with power 4- best power guy remaining, still really good hitter 5- all power no contact 6- best hitter not in top 5 7,8- worst hitters 9- guy with high contact/speed If you do your lineup this way you can get your best hitters more at bats while still putting them in RBI situations. Also the purpose of the 9 hitter being decent is so that if he gets on to start an inning then you have all the best hitters in your lineup coming up with a runner on.
@@noahmorris7078 I don’t know all of the player ratings by I would maybe put Tucker at the 2 and Gleyber at the 3. If Tucker’s better against righties he would get more ABs that way. I would also switch Navarro and Vaughn just because Navarro would be a better contact guy and better for getting on base for the top of the lineup
hey kenny, love the series so happy to see you making baseball content. just one small thing, when you're simming games you can just press triangle instead of x then sim through date. much love and all the best kenny!
White Sox series playlist just incase yall need it is right here boys I got y’all 🙏🏽 ru-vid.com/group/PLJSeV8BfzhoSEz2o2C9ibbt_mzBmWciro&si=ZJhotlWlWfcf2v4m
In the game Naylor hit the game tying grand slam in the 9th, he hit a go ahead 3 run homer in the 11th to win the game. I think he’s the only player to have 7 rbis in the 9th inning and later
Kenny I would suggest grabbing an extra very good Starting Pitcher (maybe even your usual #5 starter) and throwing him in long relief, it's one of the most important roles in Franchise this year. In one of my saves a draft pick from the White Sox actually won Cy Young out of relief by pitching 220 innings, it's pretty nuts. Also Joe Barlow is an amazing closer in sim and while being used, 5-pitch mix with great velo and control
hey kenny, when evaluating pitchers and how well they are doing, you should focus on their WHIP. that’s the biggest indicator on how a pitcher is pitching. WHIP stand for walks, hits, innings pitched. As a pitcher it’s your job to limit walks and hits so focusing on this will let you know who is actually pitching well. ERA isn’t everything
Your lineup should look like this for the most part 1: Guy who gets on base the most rather that be walks/hits etc. just whoever gets on base the most and along with some speed 2: Guy who’s going to move the runners into scoring position, big contact guy 3: Is your RBI man I recommend throwing Tucker in this spot consider the amount of XBH he racks up 4: Is your power Guy, guy who sits around the .250-.270s in average but is a big in doubles and homers 5: is another guy who gets on base but also has pretty solid contact/power 6: Should be a lesser version of your 4 hole, big power bat but sits Arian low to mid .200s in average 7: You can go 2 ways here, either a guy who gets on base a lot or another big power bat 8: Should be a guy who gets on base at a decent rate, preferably with some speed too 9: Think of this as a second lead off hitter, someone who will get on base to turn the lineup over for the big bats.

In baseball, WAR, or Wins Above Replacement, is a statistic that measures how many more wins a player is worth than a replacement-level player at the same position.
Its so cool that he reads all the comments... while I have Kenny's attention its imperative that you switch sides and become a cubs fan while you still can 🎉
Kenny really declined a trade for a TOP 100 A POTENTIAL PROSPECT WHO CAN HELP VAUGHN AT 1ST BASE for Fletcher who he admits will just be a bench guy 💀💀💀
Hey Kenny, thought I’d share some WAR numbers with you just so you have for reference. Keep in mind playing time bc these are for full season evaluation League AVG starter ~2 WAR Above average starter 3-4 WAR All Star 4-5 WAR Superstar 5-6 WAR MVP 6+ Rough guide but should be helpful.
Spoiler for the draft Angels jumped up to number one from number three. Pirates jumped from number eight to number two. One pick off the second pick in this draft. Rough lottery for the Sox. Great addition with Kyle Tucker😂 If you cared for the rest. Everyone but Cincinnati dropped a slot
