Marcia Wallace who voiced Edna sadly passed away in 2013, since then they retired her character in the series. in the episode "The man who grew too much" Ned Flanders and Nelson share a moment looking at a photograph of Edna whilst wearing black armbands and say how they miss her laugh. In another episode during the chalk gag at school with bart he is seen staring at the chalk board with a sad face, the board reads "We will really miss you Edna"
Of course that never happened and/or we new saw it but, if they replace Marcia Wallace with tress macneille (who voiced mrs skinner and other characters) we would have "more Edna". Also, this is real, and in an episode, Ned said that homer killed Edna, and we now know that we had an episode where Ned misses Edna, but we never saw how did they killed her off, however, for my perspective, I'm amusing that homer unwittingly killed Edna in a car accident.
+Theodore A. Watts Actually, Ned said Homer killed Edna in a Christmas special of The Simpsons that took place IN THE FUTURE. And, as such, all, if not, most episodes of the Simpsons that take place in the future are non-canon to the status-quo of The Simpsons. So, I don't think Homer was responsible for Krabappel's "death." So, to this very day, we still don't know how Edna passed away.
Theodore A. Watts As good as Tress is, I'm not sure she could mimic Edna's voice, so they'd probably have to change it unless they find someone who can match it. It's a very distinctive voice. They basically retired the character when Marcia died, so I doubt we'll see Edna ever again.
1:10 That'll give the frogs something to do in the drawer XD 3:43 I'm surprised she can get it right when totally pissed. 4:35 Mr Largo ages in reverse but his clothes age forward. Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!
