I think Qimir isn’t even one of the Rule Of Two Sith, but he’s simply a highly trained rogue Sith Assassin akin to Darth Maul, and he’s trying to obtain an apprentice of his own to challenge his former masters, the actual Sith Lords.

There are actually two robed figures, one on either side of the coven leader. While their robes are different to the gold trimmed purple ones of the witches, they are the same as the ones worn by the bow armed guards seen later in that scene. So, I expect that those two individuals are nothing more than guardians and not secret Sith.

There’s two hooded figures not just one, there’s another on the opposite side.

I didn't notice before but i just rewatched it, in the Coven episode at 8:57 I think the Sith arrive at the compound. The Witches hear a dark force like noise and go to inspect and get all nervous. I bet Tenebrous, Qimir, and or Plagus are there for the nights ceremonies like you said, cause what is the point of that worrisome scene? The Witches know they needed more members(the children) but don't feel super comfortable working with the sith? Both cloaked figures, there are 2(master and apprentice)dissappear instantly when the jedi arrive. They show them, right as they are announced and they are gone right when the camera pans back

As soon as I saw the witches worshipping at the edge of that big hole, I half expected Cthulhu to come out of there.

Star Wars is big on three, like three trilogies, the Sith holocron being a three-sided pyramid, the Skywalker family having three generations force-sensitives, each trilogy having three main heroes (Obi-Wan, Padme & Anakin, Luke, Leia & Han, Rey, Poe & Finn), so I suspect that there are two other Sith or dark side force users who are possibly even more sinister than Qimir, who may just be a patsy and pawn. The fact that Qimir would risk the Jedi finding out about the Sith indicates that something's not right on the dark side of the force, Sith gone wild or something, and perhaps this is about someone sinister trying to restore order to the dark side, and ultimately succeeding, leading to Palpatine 100 years later.

Tenebrous is canon? Or just lore? Tenebrous could have had multiple failed apprentices before Plagueis. So many possibilities and plausibilities.

Some of the hooded figures are just archers/sentinels. They could have gone away because the Jedi were breaking in. There is a chance those particular two are the Sith because the bows aren't visible, but in general there are other hooded figures around.

I think it's entirely possible that neither Qimir nor his master are any Sith that's been mentioned before. This is a century before TPM, so there could be multiple generations of Sith before Plagueis and Sidious. And yes that would contradict the new "canon" established by the books. But since when has SW ever kept the films and TV completely consistent with the books? Books are, at best, beta canon. Nothing is truly canon to the movies and shows until you see it on screen, and even then it can be retconned later. Even the famous Sith Rule of Two isn't really canon on screen, because Yoda's statement at the end of TPM can be interpreted easily in two ways: "Always two there are, a master and an apprentice." Which can mean A) There are only ever two Sith in the entire galaxy at any moment, or B) Sith always operate in master/apprentice pairs, and you'll never see a single Sith operating alone without the other member of their pairing somewhere nearby. The whole concept of the Acolyte being somehow a sub-apprentice, or pre-apprentice, or apprentice to the apprentice, is simply a way to get around the Rule of Two that grew up out of Yoda's one-off line. Given that the Rule of Two has never been mentioned explicitly on screen as meaning that there are never more than two Sith in existence, it can easily be interpreted the other way - meaning that "canon" really isn't cannon. So book stuff is cool and all, but you can't expect the movies and shows to follow the book stuff with any great enthusiasm, except in cases where hard-core fans of the book stuff have direct creative control over a show or movie. Personally, I'm hoping Qimir and his master turn out to be completely new and original Sith.

It's the tall black actor that hasn't shown up yet, and I'd bet he's playing Plagueis or Tenebrous.

I found it interesting that he says he has no name, but you might know me as Sith. So he doesn’t have the darth title which means he is the acolyte with his own ambitions of seizing power from his master

Plagueis was mentioned in ROTS by Sidious. Thats canon not legends so they just can't throw that out. That said if they ignored the Legends take on Plagueis being a Munn. I'd be fine with them personally giving the name and role of Sidious's master to Manny. He's done such a good job playing the part. That I'd trust it with Manny personally, he is just amazing as a Sith.

I think Qimir is thee "acolyte." I hope at thee end of this the true sith show up and wipe up any doubts. and we're just left with two unknown sith that killed a bunch of people. leading to ep.1 of course.

**pretty good theory!!!** So Disney right out of the gate came up with a whole new sect of dark force user with no lore attached and then announced that in the future the franchise would be going back in time to the "high republic" era....so why would the first high republic offering about darkside force user's be about sith when they need to spin some lore about The Knights Of Ren? Also...as cringe as that whole chant thing from episode 3 was, take a look at the content of the chant - power of one, power of 2...and the power of many. As we all know, the sith follow the rule of 2, which has me thinking that the mention of "the power of many" points to the knight of ren as they are more than 2 and we have no idea how many there may have been at any given point in the timeline... maybe they became as plentiful as the Jedi. Im also thinking the twins' mother trained the stranger, and after watching this, I feel it's possible that she was trained by Plagueis and at the end of this story arch,whoever is left traines Palpatine. Those are my theories anyway.

At around the 33:00-34:00 minute mark Mother Koril is investigating something that caught her attention. At the top of that scene/shot there appears to be a huge statue of a cloaked figure. Perhaps this planet was already inhabited by some Sith before the Coven discovered it?

I think Qimir is the Sith Apprentice and Mother Koril is the Sith Lord. Qimir will probably betray his master and become the first Knights of Ren.

pretty sure plagueis is his master for brief moment time frame right now ...not like any master qimir sees in him...he witness the former apprentice killed his mentor , father figure and true master.when he was just child for long time...tenebrous...qimir is force to be slave to plagueis and he want freedom and acolytes to take down plagueis

If they completely got rid of Tenebrous and Plagueis, Many in the fandom would riot.

Honestly, I hope, they take a new route to the Plageious/Sideious lineage, and maybe give Plageious another story. I hope they do not cling to the books and instead present something fresh and interessting. Plagious is a namedrop in the movie but anything about him beyond his title and what Palps claims about him, is legends. So there is room to tell the story differently.

The only problem I have with the “secret Sith” theory is what exactly are the Sith doing hanging out with witches and why didn’t the Jedi sense a “disturbance” in the Force. A disturbance that doesn’t feel like witch, if you know what I mean. Finally if the Sith is a he, then he would stick out like a sore thumb with all those witches.

Plagueis shouldn’t have anything to do with this show unless they completely alter his age like they did with Mundi. Hego wasn’t born until around 55bby this show is taking place around 117bby so it’s not a question of a few years like childhood to adulthood.

I think if we're going to see Qimir/The Stranger's master it's not going to be Tenebrous or Plageius, I think it's going to be a Sith who came before them in their lineage. For all the Sith claim to adhere to the rule of 2 they always seem to have a backup apprentice or 2 in the wings (hell, at one point there were 5 Sith in TCW) so we've no idea if The Stranger is even going to make it to Sith Master.

Start talking about penalties. For a millennia or more, the Sith were disciplined with not revealing their plan to the Jedi. Keeping a low profile, allowing the Jedi to believe they'd been extinguished. Now the Stranger because he wants to use his abilities, has sparked a reveal. There has to be price paid for an apprentice who breaks the carefully applied millennia plan.. The Master I believe will step in to distract the Jedi. What will the penalty be for the Stranger? Sol has known the mind of Osha and would know the difference as he's never known Mae; Mae is far more impulsive with a lower temperament, who wouldn't know how to hide her thoughts... Will the Stranger bargain for a swap? Will Mae want to go to him, knowing she betrayed him so easily with consequences?

There are many hooded figures in those scenes that are not doing the chant. 2 near the pit, to either side. Then the guards who were not involved in the chant and ceremony all were wearing the same different color robe with hood. I think you are giving the show too much credit with this idea. I do however want to point out the odd behavior at the end of the lesson in a prior scene when the redhead goes and looks out into the power generator cavern seemingly puzzled/concerned about something as she scans the cavern.

He doesn't even have a Sith name. Like darth or lord title. Who knows here. Maybe the mother trained him. It's got to be something in order to keep cannon in tact. He's SUPER powerful tho. I'm not sure we'll get much more than maybe a hologram from his master IF he's truly a "Sith."

One thing I'm hearing very little about are the implications of the new 'super power'/'force power' of taking possession over another person's mind as seen in episode 3 and as it appears to happen in the trailers. This could have a massive fallout on Star Wars lore! Early on I heard one reviewer refer to it as a "mind rape." Which led me to wonder if it would be considered to be an exclusively dark-side power, or if it were to valuable for the Jedi not to employ it? I also keep thinking that this 'possession' might explain some of the apparently irrational actions, dialogue, and character de-velopment in the story line. But so far they haven't connected any of these dots.

I think the hooded character is secretly Ki-Adi-Mundi.. He's secrectly a pawn or working with the Sith, and the coven is also working with the Sith; teaching or sharing their powers. Mae and Osha also formed a Dyad when one of them died and they're both the same person. Just like in Fight Club. There are scenes where Mae & Osha are together, but I've checked and there isn't a single scene where the 2 girls are at the same spot while someone else is there. For example, where Qimir is there fighting everyone Mae is just there watching everything happen from Kelnacca's house. Like why wouldn't she go out there an either help the Master, or help the Jedi.. I'm confident she's a force Dyad of some sort..

The Hooded figure is Darth Millennial, Darth Cognus the Huntress is his Master =) and Qimir is the Aprentice ( The Acolyte) chosen by Cognus to kill Millennial. He also kills all of the witches. This ties into Ashoka because it was Cognus who has a Vision that would become the foundation for the plan to Wipe out the Jedi. She had that vision while meditating I think its here she enters the world between worlds and we get Abloth

The quote from the prequel‘s about the Sith being extinct for over 1000 years is spoken by a character who belongs to a group of characters who were shown to be dishonest about what they actually knew to hide information, and to lie about their diminishing power in the force for example, so everybody taking it like it’s just carved in stone that the Sith really haven’t been seen in over 1000 years just because of the Jedi art divulging that information doesn’t mean that it has to be canon you could simply just have a group of characters who were habitually covering things up hiding information

There are two hooded people at the top, dressed very similar to the guardians, though they are the only ones unarmed. Both disappear when the Jedi come in. There are two scenes in which one faces the camera, though with the mists and darkness does not allow for face recognition with my technology.

I think Osha is going to be the one who ends up being the puppet master. She was kicked out of the order and really wanted Mae killed by the Jedi. I think being kicked out of the order and loosing something she always wanted was enough to push her over the edge to darkness and we are seeing her master plan unfold.

Tenebrous is the master. Plagueis is the apprentice. Qimir is the acolyte.

The witches didn't die in a fire though. Concrete/stone doesn't burn. The jedi killed the witches. That's why Torbin killed himself. Ashamed he played a part in the witches deaths.

If that was the master, then how would it make sense for Qimir to train Mae as the acolyte? The master would know about Mae and ultimately kill them both. I think the sith master is going to be somebody we haven’t seen on the show yet.

If they got rid of Plagueis and Tenebrous, I would not even consider this series canon. I thought this show was supposed to be from the Sith point of view. I was hoping for a show about how they hid from the Jedi for centuries. How the grand plan was in progress all these years.

We didn’t miss the hooded figures at the Ascension ceremony. I’ve commented about it when episode 3 came out . My hopes it is Tenebrous or Plaguieis so it matches up with what we’ve understood as the Sith lineage so far (even if it’s based on legends. I hope they keep the species the same also!

I’m sure there was a few hooded figures. It’s a pity some of the people making up theories didn’t write the episodes it would surely have been a lot better than it’s been.

I think all the Jedi who have seen Qimir and the twins will all die by the end of the season to keep the rest of the Jedi in the dark about the Sith.

I love the Acolyte. In my Star Wars, the whole Galactic sentience live the first million years of life together on a giant created world, Mimb, and having sword and sorcery, dungeons and dragons level technology and magic and the Force.

As bad as this show is, I suspect when it's over that it won't seem nearly as terrible if watched from start to finish instead of weekly. IMO the real problem is how horrendous it began... the first 3 episodes were such cringe that it seemingly made it impossible for many to care enough to give it chance. When you want to hate something you'll find reasons to. IMO, if they dropped the series in one shot there would be much less controversy. As a SW fan, I looked forward to it and wanted to like it but didn't. That doesn't mean I wasn't going to watch it play out with an opened mind. That being said, I enjoyed the last 2 episodes. If the series ends strong, then it would have more good than bad. Unfortunately, those who dwell on those first 3 episodes and/or Headland's personal views, will never see it for anything else.

My theory is that the twins biological father is a dark side user, and that sol may be Qmirs father but idk
