Yes! Subtracting fractions may need work though. My carpenter friend said he always had problems with that to, till he put his hand in a saw. Now he can count fractions on his fingers!

when it comes to your gauges, an trick is to mount them so that when in the normal operating range the needle is straight up. as the eye catches anything different, you will spot it sooner and shut off before damage is done. yes it looks weird at rest, but it saves bills on a new trans or engine as you can stop it before it gets hurt

Being a Sheetmetal Worker for 35 years, I always enjoy watching you guys do sheetmetal fab. The use of the double cuts is great for mostly "straight" lines. If you happen upon a set of "uni-shears" I would suggest you pick them up. They are much easier to use when doing radius cuts. Makita 3.3 Amp 16-Gauge Shear Model# JS1602. You can get uni-shears that will cut up to 12ga.

Paul, as with some vehicles, the defrost is multi directional. So,... If you just took some pliers and bent the loovers a lil bit, it would throw hot air in more than just above thee loovered vents.

First, I like how Hunter is working with the camera, getting a groove going. Second, I like the questions he asks because for some folks it is knowledge for them to attain. Haha love it! 3:45 You can see Ben moving the pipe then measuring it and confidently saying "One inch!" -It's like when his head is turned, his hands begin moving independently of his mind. Very instructional show case there.

Add U Bolts on dash similar to Rory's Trail Mater for Winch controls, it will make it so you can run wrecker wenches from drivers seat, keep you from misplacing or searching under a seat or on floorboard for Controllers and also keep them from being damaged, broken or lost

I'm impressed. Most seasoned weldors (welder = machine, weldor = guy who welds) will only stop a bead when they can tell what part of them is burning by the smell. If they don't feel significant pain or they can tell by the smell what is burning, they won't stop and will finish the bead before putting out the fire. Even mild burning pain is not a good enough reason to stop. My #2 son is a certified weldor and most of his work clothes look like Swiss Cheese from welding sparks. They are very drafty on windy days. Great progress ! That is an impressive dashboard and fits the design of the wrecker well. I like the louver design too. You are quite a master with your "hot glue gun" (MIG). Merry Christmas to all of you.

Paul Ben you may want to think about putting a bit of shroud above the gauges so as to keep the illumination from showing up in the wind screens glass when it is after dusk or before dawn. Merry Christmas to all of the team.

The death wheel is a proper term! I sent Michelle a picture of my finger after I was attacked by the exploding death wheel in May of 2021. It basically removed the flesh from the bone to the knuckle in the center of my finger and it broke the bone under the nail.I also sent a picture of the unharmed heavy duty insulated welding glove that had a clean spot from the impact. That cost $30K and I had to deal with a pin that was holding the bone together for a couple of months. I can't express enough to at least wear gloves! If I wasn't I would have a stubby finger. I hope whoever reads the comments shares this with the brothers in the shop because you just never know when s..t is going to happen! Thanks for sharing another great video. FabRats never disappoints, the fabrication has risen to a new level! You bros are like a manufacturer just blowing and going! Can’t wait to see this little lady in service! Meanwhile Matt’s monster wrecker will be limited to its jobs, probably be too big for most, inefficient and expensive to use on everyday stuck calls. That’s why the Mator been such a great rescue vehicle it’s small nibble more than a 4x4 to pull out broke and stuck vehicles. Can’t wait to see who’s going to be king if the hill

PAUL! If you would (FOR THE THIRD TIME!) and just take a 24” long piece of the material you want to bend and machine a small groove or mark 6” from the end then put that mark at the beginning of the the actual bending die and bend it 90* you will forever have you a master template of that bend and once you have one of those for each bending dies you will NEVER miss a bend again! DO YOU ACTUALLY READ THESE COMMENTS?

Like the the dash set up. suggestion, In all my racecars, I turn the guages so the needles point straight up when the correct reading is showing. The oil pressure, oil temp, trans oil temp, volts, are all indexed so the correct reading is positioned straight up. When you,re flying down the trail, a quick glance will tell you everything is good. All straight up? All,s good. Just my suggestion, I,m sure you have your own ideas too...Hammer down!

Hunter nailed it.. Use the cardboard template, by soaking it in Epoxy resin.. ensure you leave markings and notes and cut lines etc on it for character. And if you don't use it on the project you can sell or auction it off. =)

I really like the dash and I agree with Michelle that the stereo screen won't last long that is new technology that really isn't Paul's specialty I do think that Hunter deserves a raise for catching the mistake of the pipe not being straight on both sides

I have the same style of big screen on my truck, and one thing you are REALLY going to want to Fab up is some type of a visor/sun shield - think what the sportsball referees use for the replay viewer. First to help visibility in bright conditions, it will also help shield it from the sun, and second as a guard to keep from bashing it by accident. I used a 3d printed visor, but from having watched this crew, you might want to consider 1/4" plate with 3/8" rod on the edge and gussets...

The dash, cluster and all looks great. The entertainment center will allow them to have drive-in movies while on road trips. Hunter could even hand Michelle the memory card and she can edit and upload videos on the way home from recoveries. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you and yours.
